Is it still #4 on Apple Music? Risen or fallen? I don’t know how to access such info

Anyway, that massive Amber Heard Stan who spent an endless amount of time in this thread saying “ATRL hates it, it truly is a bad song cuz ATRL said so” finally disappeared, thank god

still #4

r/beyonce - Was reading about NYC Ball Culture on wiki after “Break My Soul” and came across a quote from Beyoncé on the scene from 2006!

Yes. She's coming for her highest debut yet (hopefully)

That’s incredible

.

The way her career is still reaching new heights 25 years in is actually incredible. Like Madonna levels of impressive longevity

It's funny hearing her make a song so clearly for gay pride after decades of being criticized as not vocal enough for the LGBTQ community

Damn this is shaping up to be her most global single since HALO. She should get one of the Blackpink girls to do a rap verse for a remix for Asia. She will get some crazy exposure; BLUE CAN HOOK them up!

She knows them :giraffe:

It's embarrassing but nothing new.

I can actually believe B studied Dua Lipa's era at the start of quarantine because what she and her team pulled off was masterful. Other than that, its clear she studied the origins of the genre + 80s/90s music. I expect she'll release a playlist of some of her favorite songs and artists in the genre at some point because she loves to do that.

I agree. Dua and her team very cleverly navigated an unprecedented global event completely putting a halt to her era. She found other avenues to promote and showcase the visuals knowing people needed escapism since they couldn't get to the clubs.

Now the clubs are reopened Bey has that at her disposal as well as seeing how effective other less traditional promo techniques can be. Tik Tok, word of mouth and her live stream performance really elevated Dua to a new pop girl status.  Bey is already up in the top tier but taking notes from the newer girls will allow her to continue to appeal to new generations.

We never had this opportunity when Lemon was locked behind Tidal ddd

She's always been a fierce and avid LGBT ally though, see above :rip: not her fault white gays didn't latch onto Freakum Dress

Lbr ATRL is like the only place that would try and discredit her as a pinnacle of gay culture. She’s been for and about the gays since day 1 and a couple out of context interview quotes won’t change that. Most LGBT people know

Azealia already did the house meets popular music think a decade ago, and she did it much much better than whatever this was supposed to be.

This is bad in a way I didn’t know Beyoncé was capable of. Her latest releases have been bad and total duds, but at least they were on brand and possessed some attempt at a point of view? I thought her massive team would never produce something like this and allow her to release such drivel.
I’m kind of shocked…….. not super shocked considering the string of bad albums this follows, but a bit shocked none the less.

Ok did she really say that?- happy pride, gay boys"- If not, I tot we were against false information. :skull:

OT: She's a legend. What is this crap? :skull:

How does this have no point of view? lol it's literally on brand with her music that seeks to push black artists and culture to the forefront

Beyonce securing a smash hit on the radio, in the club and in the gyms with just one song. Ughhh her mind!

Right? The dummies in here thinking she's "going back to pop music" when she's still releasing unapologetically black music.

Like, she legit thinks people are about to be riding down the street screaming, “queens in the front, doms in the back?”

There’s plenty of people who will be & I’ll be one of them. :johnald:
