FYI, if you don't have the vinyl, you ABSOLUTELY need it.  It sounds crazy, like I think it was made for vinyl

I don't think anything from the album lost the hype in its entirety. it's crazy, but if she's planning on releasing the visuals in like... a month, everything will feel fresh again and the gp portion that didn't get caught in the 'renaissance' storm might be swallowed right away this time.

I hope so. Maybe with the vinyls, visuals, and a hit song (I'm begging you Bey, release Cuff It!!) the album will be her longest to stay in the top 10.

This is intentional, of course. Renaissance refers to a period of time, not one single event. Whatever the project shapes up to be, it will have been by design. This album lives on its own right now, but like what happened with Break My Soul, context is key. I am not concerned at all, in fact I’m fully confident. 
 

No one drops something like this as a ‘part one’ if the rest fails to raise the bar. At least, not Beyoncé. I could wait a year before we get visuals and be perfectly content. There is already so much to unpack and we have barely scratched the surface.

Ok, at this point I legitimately need to meet Beyoncé and have a conversation with her. I need to get inside her brain and figure how all her albums sound completely different. You can tell she was having fun like **** in the studio. Every backing vocal, every sample, every lyric, the cadence on EVERY song, I can go on for hours. She manages each time to deliver a better album time after time. I don’t get it. It shouldn’t shock me. But damnit it’s insane. I can’t remember the last album that had me this hooked close to two months after release. This is ridiculous and it’s a sin. When ACT 2 and the videos drop I….I…may have to just go ghost from all human interaction. It’s that serious.
