Been relegated in banland because of this damn album but it was worth it lol

 

Absolutely AOTY the other day I was discussing with friends (mostly not interested in commercial music) and we all agreed she's now bigger and most of all BETTER than MJ ever was. FIGHT ME. This is a level of brilliance perpetuated over 25 years. Otherworldly.

My stupid ass got banned for a while and since I'm back I just want to say - the album is incredible! So diverse yet so cohesive, so many layers.

Alien Superstar (best on the album imo), Cozy, Heated, Thique, Church Girl, Summer Renaissance

I'm still not a huge fan of Break My Soul though. I definitely works in the context of the album and I can see why she chose it as a lead.

I’m tired of using my imaginations… she better give us a performance this weekend at the VMAs before dropping the visuals on Sept 4th. I’m going to start boycotting the album after that date if those two things don’t happen.
