Beating our Cuff It by a large margin This album is stacked with hits and the single order should go BMS > AS >> Cuff It >>> Virgos Groove radio edit with a Grammy performance Those are just the singles that would work worldwide and on Pop radio. She’s still sitting on multiple urban radio smashes with Thique and Church.

"Cuff It" is a pretty safe choice and it will be a moderate hit. But if marketed right, AS has the potential to SMASH and be a bigger hit than BMS. I doubt we'll get more than 3 singles from this album before ACT II drops. Even three is a stretch.

That's a smash...add Drake for the remix & its over!! as much as we love the outro...its a fun concert moment...it can survive without it on the radio hit. the song is a vibe on its own without it IMO. unlike others, i'm not under the impression that Acts 2 & 3 are going to be rushed out. my current expectations for Act 2 is Summer 2023.

If there's a third single, I think that "Heated" with a Drake remix would be such a perfect choice. I can see ACT II come out in February along with tour announcement/tickets going on sale. But not sure, there are many possible scenarios. Definitely not coming this year since she's pushing additional Renaissance vinyls in October.

BnPac Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 AS has 3.8M more streams than CI so almost 4M more streams and ~13M more than SR. It needs to be pushed. It's alsdo the only song to randomly top AM! And it managed to pull ahead way of CI on Hot 100 despite the latter being ahead first week by 9 whole positions. It's still charting in most official charts where a lot of songs debuted with zero push. They can make CI the official single if they want but AS needs to be pushed. It'll be dumb not to, even if it "flops". This is actually a risk that makes sense. And the only thing radio helps with is charts, it does not count anywhere else. Streams however are album's units. We need streams, we don't have CDs, cassettes or vinyls or promotion.
Blue Rose Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 The 3 weeks CUFF IT and ALIEN have been competing for the second single week 1: Cuff It playlisted and promoted on itunes main page and barely charted above Alien week 2: with still no support, Alien charted above Cuff It week 3 (current prediction) #67 Alien and #80 Cuff It week 4 (current tracking) Alien finally got some playlisting support and has rising on the Spotify charts for the second day in a row. Something Cuff It couldn’t do. And here is a chart expert weighing in

"Cuff It" is an all around better song with broader & more long lasting appeal. it wasn't aimed to be viral and the fact that's relatively keeping up makes it solid choice to be a single and arguably a better one. Her music is now available on all audio streaming platforms. So people who watch the visuals on Netflix or whatever will have somewhere to actually go listen to those songs. That wasn't the case for Lemonade. The actual promoted singles will also be available and not on private on YTB. Keeping them there for a while might make the GP focus all its attention on the current singles and help make for an exciting release of the following singles when their videos appear on YTB on her own channel. Luckily, I think most of the GP is too lazy nowadays to bother with leaks and low quality stuff. That's what she did with BIK, although sadly one year too late. And despite that, some of the people that watched the movie on Disney + (which at the time wasn't yet that big) managed to find the related album (which was hard because there's no correlation between BIK and TG on streaming) and listen to it enough to bump the album from OUT to #2 on BB200 (a reverse Spirit's experience ). It also worked with Homecoming, it was a Netflix exclusive but had enough streaming points to debut at top 10 and would have been #1 had it had a full streaming week because the music itself was available everywhere. It can work but I doubt that's what she'll be doing. The Hive seems to think the only reason we haven't received stand-alone videos is because they're all a part of a story so if that's the case, it wouldn't make sense to release them separately.

Once Cuff It reaches Top 5/10 on UAC and is in heavy rotation let it cross over into the world of Pop/Rhythmic after AS is done smashing and get a full multi format radio smash with Cuff It.
