Probably most annoying are the fans that constantly fall for it.

Single-wise, I only accept one development now: Alien Superstar gets anounced as the 2nd WW single alongside the release of the visuals for Renaissance. However out of all the visuals, only Alien Superstar gets put on Beys Youtube channel. Then I want its playlist reach to increase. And et voila, another Top 10 is born with the potential of going #1 once radio builds up.

I really dont think AS would smash, the only potential 2nd single would be Cuff it tbh.

AS is a global smash fueled by streaming and TikTok, sth Bey has never had before. Cuff It is a soccer mom type of song that could also do well, but AS is where the money is at with GenZ and her queer audience

Radio won’t build up for Alien Superstar. Its success will mostly be streaming driven.

Cuff It just got a TikTok dance, just like About Damn Time had. Let’s also not call a disco influenced track with f*cking Nile Rodgers on guitar a “soccer mom type of song” like this was some P!nk song.

Not to the extent of BMS which has become a multi-format topper, but I can see it building up a respectable audience on Pop for instance. Urban is loyal anyway, so theres that.

I meant it more in the sense that I can see older folks liking Cuff It because it has a more throwback-type of sound whereas AS is way more progressive.

Radio also follows tik tok. Whatever is popular there ends up on radio for the most part. AS could definitely build up its audience just like HTE did and RUTH.
