Thique 2:00 to 2:20 is the best 20 seconds on the album. And that transition into All Up In Your Mind (which is a masterpiece in itself), whew

I'm still so obsessed with this album. Top 3 lately is Cuff It, Alien Superstar and Energy. It definitely became my second favorite Bey album after DIL (that one will always be #1 for me), the replay value of it is even higher than ST tbh. 

 

Saturday makes more sense if it's a full length film on Netflix. It makes it more of an event and people gather for the premiere which is much harder to do at midnight on a Friday or after people worked all day.

I just want to say that it's already obvious the contrasting elements of Church Girl, but can we get some appreciation for having the audacity to layer an angelic choir singing "FREE" when the lead vocal is saying "Drop it like a thotty, drop it like a thotty (you bad!)"?
