HEATED slander is so unfortunate. It’s one of the best songs on REN and screams future top 10 smash that spends 50 weeks on the Hot 100. The second verse is one of my favourite verses on the entire album.

I had Covid the whole past week and all I did was sit at home and play it

 

 

The fact that when I first heard Renaissance it was at the peak of my Covid symptoms feeling MISERABLE yet I loved the album and it truly made me feel so much better this whole past week

And SR, as much as I love it, will not get enough streams to maintain the album top 10 for long. We saw how it is performing compared to CI and AS despite having all that playlisting, being one of the most pop song in the album, with the most recognizable sample, it still fails to even come close to the other two songs 'streams. Streams are album sales now, it'll probably perform just like BMS, good airplay but so so streams. That's OK when the album is not out. 

Radio play is not converted into album units, only streams are so we need AS and CI smashing. 

 

I think if SR is released after two smashes however, both radio and streaming will follow. 

Then again she might not even release that many singles and Act Il might be right around the corner.
