I can't rank as of yet - there is so much to process! Ugh her mind :jonny:

My favs are Alien Superstar, Heated, Thique, All Up In Your Mind and Pure/Honey.

Church Girl is definitely my least fave but everything else is flawless.

Hoping all three become singles. The transition from Energy to Break My Soul is amazing.

I have seen nearly all of my faves live except a few and I haven’t been able to afford the last few Bey tours, but I’m ready to start saving for whatever gets me closest to the stage because this is it :jonny2:

My top four are these + Heated and I can’t go any further than that :weeps:  the Energy transition is very much a… top 3? moment for me. This album needs a map tbh.

That's a greatest hits album. I'm seeing a top 10 debut at best. The only real competition will be NBA Youngboy (:mazen:) I guess

Yes, Heated is definitely up there for me. That songs just gives me so, so much confidence. "Uncle Johnny made my dress made my dress, that cheap spandex she looks a mess" has been stuck in my head all day.

I think I've digested enough to do a ranking, though I don't feel right doing a "low" tier because I don't believe there is a bad song on the album

America Has A Problem

jesus tier:

Plastic Off The Sofa

Move

Heated

Summer Renaissance

Literally! I need to know everything about the making of this album, especially her chanting in Heated. Really hoping she’s taking the Renaissance theme to the max and producing a bunch of different multimedia, building this era’s own kingdom in a way. Moments like that in Heated feel very… camp? It’s pure, liberated performance art.

The clean versions are actually not half bad. Cuff It and Summer Renaissance have radio edits at the ready.

Church Girl is growing on me. I had to listen to it separately rather than back to back because it's such a swerve of sound from the previous track.

A VR company has been tweeting about her for a long time. People are theorizing the different songs will exist inside Club Renaissance and you'll be able to travel from room to room using a headset. Each room being a different song's music video set.

I hope it's true.

Wow. 93 metacritic score (her highest rated album), 300k+ debut in the US, a #1 song. All of these at her 40s. What a legend. :WAP:

I really hope there's a visual album and she drops it this coming Friday. :emofish:

I can’t get over the Energy to BMS transition, SO good and gives me a newfound appreciation for Big Freedia’s part. I will literally empty my bank account for this tour, I need to see this live so bad

That’d be incredible, do you know which company? :lakitu:

Not her carrying the VR industry :jonny3:

Yes, but this is definitely her Swept Away. Her last hoo-ray, I fear.

Ha successor is en-route (as Whitney pushed out Diana with her youthfulness). It’s the beginning of her end zX8KPi7.gif
