I actually think Alien Superstar & Cuff It are one of the rare occasions where two songs are doing well and they won’t really overlap in appeal. Let them both do their things.

There are so many great single choices, they really can’t go wrong. I’d say Cuff It now - Alien Superstar for the visuals. Like the user said above, I actually don’t think they’d overlap too much. They could definitely coexist, but the number of songs in this album that deserve exposure is quite large. Heated and Church Girl are urban smashes waiting to happen. Summer Renaissance is also pop another banger. Virgos Groove, America, the list goes on. Either way, good music will live on - so even if they don’t release a bunch of singles the album being stacked like this just gives it insane replay value.

I got an email Saturday my record shipped. Since Saturday, the status has a date of July 21 and it only says label created. Should this worry me?

The harmonies in Move is why I’m convinced some of y’all have no taste when you say it’s the worst in the album. 
 

Just peep that run around @ 1:06 on it. That Arabic influence is still fully intact, which goes as far back as Baby Boy and beyond. Once I heard it the Lebanese in me squirted.

HONEY, YES!!!! Twirk is THAT obscure unreleased track!! There’s parts of it that remind me of the melody in Yoncé too. I remember hearing Yoncé for the first time after ST dropped and immediately thought of Twirk.

I think the album campaign will not start until the Fall. They have better promotional platforms starting in those months rather than now:

-SNL returns in September

-Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve

-GRAMMYs in February 2023

-BRITs in February 2023

…and so on.

No. My label was created July 21st (though it doesn’t notify you of that until the item ships). The actual shipping date was July 28th (for me), and it arrived today (Aug. 1st).
