Listening to Renaissance was an overwhelming experience and I'm kind of glad I didn't hear it through a film distracting me. I get to break down and appreciate every chord, harmony, etc. until then. It literally sounds the only filler song on the album I get that it sounds more radio friendly than the rest of the album. But i honestly feel like she there's so many heavy hitting greatness on the album that could've made a major switch in the pop scene if given the chance. Absolutely. It’s catchy. The production is crisp. It’s different yet still safe for the public and fans to adjust to. Cuff It is the only other safest option but Beyoncé already did funk & probably would have been too familiar. It’s a better follow-up single to get the crowd that loves that past sound back for her. Cuff it was played today on the radio in Australia when i was going to work. And it sounded like a smash. I think it has potential to be a bigger hit than BMS. Im not sure if it was sent to radio already? On the other hand, nothing sounds like ALIEN SUPERSTAR out there.
