MexicanLiLMonster Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Next years Grammays for AOTY category is going to be insane! Adele vs Beyonce vs Bad Bunny vs Kendrick Lamar vs Harry Styles vs Encanto soundtrack.... maybe you can throw in Lizzo, Tyler the Creater, Steve Lacy, and then a dark horse.
dnboy1 Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Anybody else get emotional on Church Girl? Between “nobody can judge me” and “finally on the otherside, I finally found the extra smiles. Swimming through the oceans of tears we cried.” Ugh the message behind this! I can relate so much. Growing up in the church, and always feeling judged or feeling like I couldn’t be my true self..whew chile. ? This is the first time a song has me tear up while tryna shake some ass though so it was so confusing at first ??????
Simple Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Summer Renaissance is not getting enough praise here
Pavement Princess Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 WOW! Did not realize how hard All Up in Your Head goes the **** off… Might be my new #1…. A.G. honestly did that, right into another BANGER that is America.

Hivy Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 I listened to this album more than 20 times and I have come to the conclusion that America Has A Problem is the best track on the album I fear. The BG vocals are so haunting and beautiful and paired with her rap-singing ...created a masterpiece.
Jude Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 I had to listen to this album 4 times to appreciate them. Beyonce is done making catchy pop radio friendly tunes I guess. Nonetheless I enjoyed the whole album a lot. The production on this album is insane, like it's really well produced. An expensive album so to speak. Wish it had strong melodies but Bey's vocal delivery and rapping made it really fun to listen to to. Enjoyed some of her really fast runs and the vocal samples. I think the last half of the album is where I enjoyed it the most. I think the focus of this album is on its production and lyricism. Great album to me. 9/10 My top 5 favorites are (in no particular order): 1. Cuff It 2. Virgo's Groove 3. Plastic Off the Sofa 4. Heated 5. Thique The only track I didn't enjoy is I'm That Girl but it's still not a skip. It's a nice intro. Break My Soul sounds different from the rest of the album. It baffles me why it was chosen as the lead single when it does not represent the sound of the whole album. Still a bop nonetheless. I really thought Bey is going to drop an album with full of EDM bops but I still enjoyed the RnB and Afrobeats elements on this one. Still a dancy upbeat album to me. Currently bopping to Summer Renaissance.
SeeingStars1515 Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 I’m that girl is low key one of my favorites despite not having a hook
Haus Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 How do you even rank this when you have hidden bangers like Heated who would easily situate herself within the trinity of most any other album?
Jay L Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 The way Church Girl HAS to be a single eventually. Radio will eat it up I can already imagine the tik tok videos

I feel like People really felt this song.
Ice Cream Skies Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Thique is painfully underrated. No one's talking about it.

Kh-Loud Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 I want to put on weight but I’ve been dancing so much that I lost weight. Ugh I hate Beyoncé. I also finally have time to appreciate the slower songs. Those who said she doesn’t really sing on this album should have their faves try doing those vocal acrobatics in PLASTIC OFF SOFA and VIRGOS GROOVE. Imagine not feeling like a clown saying Beyoncé sounds like Cassie and Selena G
Jude Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 The transitions from Plastic Off the Sofa to Virgo's Groove to Move is 10/10.
