Beyoncé will be doing much better than the vast majority of those same men and younger white women on AM so it balances itself out. I’d be worried if she wasn’t doing good on AM but she is absolutely dominating. Hmmm. Calm down.
Hivy Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Idrc about streaming numbers. I want to see the first week numbers and ww numbers
Cbreezy Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 The Spotify numbers are cool and paired with the Apple Music domination makes for a a solid streaming footprint. Now we have insights and know she has the physical component, can we kind of estimate her first week numbers in the US? Roughly?
Bey Admired Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 She’s heading for a pretty big debut in the US based on the streaming numbers.
OrgVisual Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 https://charts.spotify.com/charts/view/regional-us-daily/latest 18M+ from Spotify 1.4M for first 8 tracks = 11M streams The other tracks are not far behind so they should do around 1M each = 8M streams So Spotify + AM = 18 + 11 + 8 = 37M streams. Not to mention other streaming platforms 40M is an underestimation I think Excellent numbers for an experimental record
Cbreezy Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 With pure sales added, what kind of #s are we likely looking at?
The7thStranger Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 This album is... I was not expecting her to come this hard.

I<3BK Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 8 minutes ago, Cbreezy said: With pure sales added, what kind of #s are we likely looking at? This is Beyonce. Her audience is more used to buying albums (physical and digital) than streaming. Considering TEA + pure sales are not included in that early estimate, it's safe to say 300k is on lock in the US. The upper limit really depends how many physical and digital sales she gets.
magicfever Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I think I finally found my Trinity in Move - Pure/Honey - Summer Renaissance

sillycilla Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I think it’s great Bey is pulling these numbers without a visual. It’s also frustrating in a way because a visual would also count as points.
Black Sunflower Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 (edited) I just don't get the critcism about her being overhyped. Almost everything is "overhyped". Many musicians are. Sports are overhyped as hell. That's just how marketing and commercials are. People who claim to be put off by her cause of overhype are just the type of people that like to go against the grain on purpose, you know those types...maybe not everyone but that's the vibe I get from them. She is absolutely one of the greatest live performers and artists of our time, and maybe she is among many, but that certainly warrants "hype". That overhyped discourse bs is so played out and wack at this point. Edited July 30, 2022 by Black Sunflower
Massive_Teardrop Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I’m just in love with this album. This direction is giving me everything I’ve ever wanted from a Beyoncé project- creative exhilarating club music with the best vocal production on an album in years IMO
simon Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I feel the streams will be consistent considering the positive response. I am glad she is playing the long game with this album.
Beyonce_runthis Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Good numbers on Spotify. Great numbers on AM. But, I want more focus on longevity. Hopefully, this album is like FN & Planet Her in that terms. Debut numbers are nothing but a quick brag imo. What matters is the longevity. Hopefully, Renaissance will have that. I’m optimistic as well.
