Easiest to digest… Cuff It or Heated

Thique reminds me a bit of Bad Guy

Cuff It would be such a great single choice. Especially, as we're heading into fall and we still want to groove!

The explicit and clean songs are still not merged on Apple Music so the songs can still go higher

Not a skip on this album!! This is probably my favorite album from Queen Bey!:jonny5:

I was high and bopping in the car and this is a VIBE!

They seem to be already pushing Cuff It on AM.

Totally forgot about the “clean” versions, does she really have them?

Yes. The explicit Album is #1 and the clean is #16.

If you go the pop genre chart - the clean singles show toward the bottom.

Once they merge (on the chart) - it will increase placement. It just takes time.

Pure had potential to be the best song in the album and hit big on the charts, but of course Beyonce had to do something crazy with the song and Honey happened.

It's unfortunate cause Honey is fine but Pure is excellence.

That being said, there's no AWFUL song on this album which is nice. They're all okay to excellent. Not everybody has that :clap3:

So after almost 24h with the album and several listens, here are my thoughts.

1. I would say this is NOT a house album, it's more disco than anything else. I was really hoping for more house songs such as Break My Soul (an absolute bop), but unfortunately there's none of that in the album.

2. It's an experimental and daring body of work, many songs here have part 1 then switch to part 2 with a totally different mood. Not that easy to digest, definitely needs a few listens.

3. Some career highlights with Alien Superstar and Church Girl.

4. First part of the album is amazing (tracks 1-7), then it dips (track 8-13), and picks up again (14-16).

5. Overall, I would give it a 6, with potential to go as high as 8 after more time with it (MVs, live performances, tour, etc).

Glad to have her back. I can't wait for the tour and her next moves this era. I need them visuals. :clap3:

My faves are Alien Superstar, Cozy and America but i think the most radio friendly is Cuff It. They might push it if Alien doesn't overshadow it.

I have come to the conclusion that Virgo's Groove is one of the best songs of all time

Going viral all over Twitter. About to dethrone ITG from #1 on AM. :lakitu:

Alien would so smash. She did that

Still a bit salty about no video for BMS, the album images are great, would even take some footage of her lounging around for the video.

Do we know who delivers the  intro to Allen Superstar?

Does anyone else think it sounds a bit like Justin Timberlake?

Ditto. I understand Bey wanting us to engage with the listening process this era, but can we least get the BMS video? I know it would be serving multiple looks.
