Starkboy Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Most tracks are for clubs not radio However I'd say Cuff It as next single. Or Heated.

Funny enough I see so many people saying the same as you but reading some comments AS seems to get the most "universal" reception.
lachiqui_klk Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 SUCH. A. GOOD. ALBUM. quite experimental, super dance-y, production is TOP tier... it's even better than I expected. she DELIVEREDDDD

Rainbow Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Wow I really loved this album. I was skeptical since I didn't like Break My Soul at all.

sam.teas Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 very experimental and layers in production. I have to still process why she chose BMS as the lead single...
Rider Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 On the 3rd full listen and EVERYTHING clicked. It is her best album and there's so many levels to it There's not one skip I can't she really always wins
BeachRat Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 (edited) controversial opinion: but kind of a snooze fest tbh at first listen lol. this would have worked back in the summer of 2020 maybe but now after everybody's done it better and fresher i don't really feel it tbh. an 80's sound would have maybe worked better idk but the whole 70s disco vibe literally put me to bed and told me good night. sorry. edit: on the other hand i have to give her that she is literally the only girl who is actually black and reclaiming her sound and adding all this afro vibes making her somehow an african disco queen is iconic. RunBoyRun Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Did not like one single song. I liked 4, loved self titled and Lemonade. What a shame. Waited six years.... for nothing.
Camilitau.u Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 This is Normani’s chance to capitalize on the disappointment of the album
Cottonmouth Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 This is such a fun album. I don't know which one this will kick out of her album trinity though (B'Day, Self-Titles, 4). Only song I wasn't truly feeling was I'm That Girl. Alien Superstar, America Has A Problem, Cuff It, and All Up In Your Mind are definitely my favourites from the album. But it really is such a good and different direction for her.
Draper. Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 A.G. Cook killed that build up in All Up in Your Mind. Beyoncé XCX .
Starshine Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 The I’M THAT GIRL slander on ATRL, it’s literally excellent

I see 95% praise for the album, especially on the last 20 pages of this thread. Go stream Dancing With a Stranger or something, the girl needs it.
Likingstars Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 This album reminds me of ST. A very long album with multiple highlights and every song has a lot to offer. It’s gonna take some time to fully digest
