I'm not convinced this isn't part of Alien Superstar (starting at 54 second mark)

The original Mutant Exotic, unless they just remixed it for the add, but it seems like it could be a mashup to me

Your obsession with Beyonce is legit terrifying. Know you’ll be perched though streaming your heart out when the album drops!

That’s strange, I was looking at the credits on Wiki and it says:

Redmond, Penny, Solomon, Dean, Denisia "Blu June" Andrews, Brittany Coney, S. Carter, David Debrandon Brown, Dave Hamelin, Timothy Lee McKenzie, Danielle Balbuena, Rami Yacoub, Leven Kali, Atia Boggs, Lavar Coppin, Saliou Diagne, Robert Manzoli, Richard Fairbrass, John Holiday, Kim Cooper, Peter Rauhofer

Robert Manzoli and Richard Fairbrass are where the I’m Too Sexy link is. I wonder why this is different to the other list. :katie: They’re also included on here: https://uproxx.com/music/beyonce-renaissance-composer-credits-drake-jay-z/

EDIT: Just realised the list you quoted cuts off at “Lev” so I’m guessing there’s been some kind of error where not everything was included.

I pulled it from Pitchfork...yeah might be cut off?

https://pitchfork.com/news/beyonce-reveals-tracklist-for-new-album-renaissance/

Idk???

Loving the anticipation knowing there is a new Beyoncé album in 1 week. I prefer it this way than a surprise release

if it's a sample, I would think they still get a credit.

Ok I looked it up and Peter Rauhofer was part of “CLUB 69”. This song below also has Kim Cooper (who is also credited for Alien Superstar), so it could be this:

But they have quite a few songs together if you look up “Club 69 Kim Cooper” on YouTube so it could be any one of them. But yeah whatever way you look at it, Alien Superstar is definitely gonna be made for the CLUB. :jonny5:

She's likely sampling more than 1 song

I can't believe we're discussing house samples and trance producers on a Bey album :duca: If you love dance music AND Beyoncé this is A DREAM COME TRUE :jonny5:

:jonny4: I hope she sings some of it bc woo vocals

So beyond excited for Church Girl after listening to that sample! I think it's sampling/interpolating more than 1 song though - hence the James Brown & Ralph MacDonald credits. Probably this

So is she just sampling a bunch of dance hits?

Wish I would’ve got a vinyl :jonny:

She’s sampling 1960’s/1970’s diso/funk songs. She’s literally sampling James Brown.

She’s sampled her entire career (Crazy In Love is a sample from the 70’s) so it’s not uncommon :rip:

Really hope they restock the vinyl. :chick1:

Was occupied the past two days and couldn't get my hands on it.

Part of Bey’s genius is her ability to quite literally executively produce her own projects, drawing on a vast array of cultural and musical references in an attempt to imprint, infuse, and deify the historical subtext; Ultimately creating a body of work that has undoubtable substance and meaning.

I like how you worded this. So true.
