Brikenbur Posted June 15, 2022 Share Posted June 15, 2022 Shakira is because she's mainly known for her hit "Hips Don't Lie" and the GP [at least in the US] don't know much about her personal life... no one outside of the gay community and ATRL even knows what "She Wolf" was despite the music video and positions on the chart. ATRLers and the GP hate Beyoncé ever since they found out she was actually Black and started to incorporate her heritage into her music. Adele mainly gets heat from ATRLers for taking the spotlight away from Taylor when it comes to album/single sales. Rihanna is moderate with the GP hugely based on her music and past hits that are still in rotation today. Not only that, Rihanna is still heavily influential today greatly thanks to her beauty line. I voted against my fav when I could’ve gave her the lead I wanted to say Rihanna but I feel like Shakira is loved by almost everyone. Her biggest scandal is the tax evasion stuff that nobody cares about. Rihanna has her fair share of haters (swifties and Beyhive in particular). Adele has haters (swifties), Beyoncé has haters (swifties (there seems to be a trend here ) and some nhevi). I don’t really see any fandom talking bad about Shakira.
