I literally don’t give a **** what you think babe <3 I will continue to listen to the affected marginalized communities x

I just don’t see the point in making a huge issue out of a word that is roughly as offensive as calling someone a “doo doo head” in the US and also is used as a verb most of the time (like in this song) :dies:

Its not up to you to decide “how offensive” the word is, its literally not your call to make. and its not a competition. listen to marginalized communities, its that easy. also the US is NOT the world and she is an international artist. smh.

What does this word do to harm people? ESPECIALLY in the US context

You don’t have an argument. You just want something to be offended by.

literally basic reading comprehension not working for you… BABE i am not offended, the affected communities are. Its called allyship. how much simpler than “it is used as a slur against disabled people” can it be?  f*ck off!

I don’t think fighting against a word that isn’t even used that way in the US is causing any real change for the community. But to each their own.

Girl stfu omg :deadbanana2:

OT: Did she really change the line, or am I misreading the above? If so, good for her & team - mad respect for the almost immediate change. That's pretty awesome of then and suggests to me her Branding and message are pretty genuine :clap3:

:clap3: it doesn't matter if I "don't get it" or "don't care" personally about that word. But the fact is she and team immediately took notice, listened, and decide it was important enough and worth changing. Love it.

I am one of the people who think people were overreacting but I am very, very impressed by the move they made and how quickly it happened.

literally rolling my eyes at this SJW mess. she didnt need to do it, but she did so whatevs.

She did the right thing by removing it swiftly and just sweeping that under the rug. I still don't think she should have done it nor did it with any ill intent but if some people were truly offended by it.. then I guess!

All of these for promo only song and arguably worst song of her career which nobody would stream it pass once album release again. not likely to chart too.

but it’s good PR in my book so it’s already done it’s job. :gaycat5:

The streaming numbers for the new song is a hot mess
