Konril Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Ugh 3 weeks at #1 on Netflix's most watched TV Show Week 1: 69.48 Million views Week 2: 127.5 Million views Week 3: 77.24 Million views But I'm afraid the viewing figures are not enough to offset the $15 Million budget per episode. I'll be f**king sad if this gets canned. Getting sandwiched between Better Call Saul, She-Hulk and House of the Dragon also hurts this.

Ugh, the way this will pull a Sense8 for the same reason (another amazing queer Sci-Fi show where each episode was too expensive for Netflix to continue making more seasons).

Konril Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 With recent Netflix troubles, I'm not really sure if viewers are their only key metric in renewing shows especially on a budget as high as this. It'll probably also be subscriber retainment or numbers of new subscribers to Netflix during the period The Sandman was released.
WildAmerican Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Finished S1! It kinda fell off the last episodes but overall i really liked the series and hope it gets renewed
Eric. Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 That Cereal Convention is likely one of the most twisted things I've seen on TV, but it was also very original. Felt too real and not like a fantasy anymore.
Konril Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/18/business/media/netflix-subscribers-earnings.html Netflix regained all its subscriber loss in Q1 and Q2 and gain some more in Q3 where Sandman landed. Please Netflix, renew Season 2. I want to see all of The Endless around the table.
Arcadius Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 (edited) FINALLY. My favorite comic book show of the year. Edited November 2, 2022 by Arcadius

1000formsofacting Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 I really hope we get it in june o july 2023 and not have to wait two years like House of the Dragon. First season was perfection!
Johnny Jacobs Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Just finished it and.. It was kinda meh. Idk i expected it to be more darker, magical and have a more interesting plot Kinda disappointed but its cute overall.
Johnny Jacobs Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Let's hope s2 will be more interesting. The first one was kinda underwhelming. It was pretty boring 1
