I thought me having a thing for moody, broody emo boys was a teenage phase but NOPE. He's the polar opposite to Dream in interviews if you haven't seen any! Like insanely bubbly, chatty and enthusiastic out of all the cast!

Then it's downhill from there, the last half of the season is weak. It was crescendo from ep. 1 to 6. I don't get it, why couldn't they keep up with the quality for the last 4 episodes? Still super excited for season 2. Absolutely agreed. The first 6 eps were a SERVE, but I'm a little lukewarm on the last half. If I'm being completely honest Spoiler Everything involving Jed reallllllllly bogged down the story for me. Rose was rightfully the lead of that storyline, because Jed got on my nerves. He kept interrupting the vortex and Corinthian stuff and annoyed the hell out of me Anyway, I'm SO glad this is a success (even tho a tiny part of me hopes s2 isn't for a bit so Allan Heinberg can do a Young Avengers project for Marvel nnnnn) Side note: Corinthian and Dream are so hot to me thank f*ck we got to see Corinthian kiss those guys
cruelhprince Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 good show. the Rose arc was so boring though I'm sorry Dream I hope they do a 2nd season
toy soldier. Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) Just finished it tonight and I really enjoyed it. I usually hate CGI and I thought this was very well done. Loved the casting especially Desire, they were great and I really enjoyed Lucifer too, I thought the whole Rose storyline was the weakest tbh I really hope it gets renewed for s2 OT: After reading all the comments I noticed that I missed e5! I don't know how but i'll watch tomorrow lol Edited August 14, 2022 by toy soldier.
Lovett Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Just finished this and I absolutely loved it. Episode 5 was by far my favourite. It was incredibly done and Kirby Howell-Baptiste is such a wonderful actress. The whole show was brilliantly done and I really hope it gets renewed for another season.
phreshprince Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Episode 1-6>>>> hated the Rose storyline. And she didn’t look 21. They could have at least taken the rainbow locs out of her hair thought she was MAYBE 16
Hector Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 The fact that Neil himself still doesn't know if this is getting a second season. This is doing great numbers, Netflix needs to announce it soon.
Konril Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 Ugh. This deserved a 2nd Season, the world building is there. To not get a second season and meeting the rest of the Endless is a crime against humanity.

TaylenaStan Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) So funny when i saw people complain that this show is ''too gay'' i expected a gay sex scene every episode or sth like that but we got like 4-5 kisses and thats it The fact that ppl complain about this in 2022, absolutely crazy Anyways i liked the show overall, the concept is absolutely awesome and the visuals were great but i felt like the acting was inconsistent and took me out at certain times, especially the last couple of episodes with Rose Episode 5-6 were the peak and 10/10 television Edited August 17, 2022 by TaylenaStan
Konril Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 OMG. Bonus episode is here. Will about to watch!
Konril Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Yup. Yup. Yup. This episode is building lore for future plots. Please Netflix, officially announce a 2nd season. I hope they do another stand alone story like Ramadan and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Konril Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Mr. Rory Williams Pond, I missed you and you were superb as usual. Black Eyeliner Dream and Calliope's chemistry.
Hector Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Both episodes were a serve Sandra Oh as a cat and the way Dream helped his former wife by causing hell for Madoc
Konril Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Dream: "I cannot allow him to go free." Calliope: "Why? Because I was once yours?" Dream: "Because he hurt you." Dream you loverboy. The way the comics were much worse in the depiction of the relationship of Madoc and Calliope, I'm glad it is toned down here.
Arcadius Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 This show is just excellent and deserves to be talked about more. Episode 6 is one of the best television episodes I've watched in a while. The Corinthian is so damn fine, I can't believe he used to be engaged to Elizabeth Olsen. What a couple.
DanyelP23 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 I'm on episode 5 right now. Not the daddy the waitress had a crush on dropping a bomb like that
WildAmerican Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 (edited) ep5 is an entire MOMENT Edited August 22, 2022 by WildAmerican

But it definitely felt like an overload of gay characters while watching live...poor Netflix is going to be blamed by the normies though... Yeah I had no idea what this show was and then my mom put it on and we watched the first 5 episodes, and I was lowkey cringing at like every other character being some kind of LGBT, even the fry cook.

That's a shame that you see queer content and cringe at it, instead of enjoying. Edited August 22, 2022 by MrLovett

Because it came across (to me, not knowing the source material) as overkill to the point it played into the meme that Netflix makes everyone they can gay. Are they allowed to do that? Absolutely. Did it seem like they were making characters gay for the sake of It? Sort of. Honestly tho I probably wouldn't say this if it wasn't for the fact that after establishing that one girl in the diner was seeing a girl they dropped the bomb that the fry cook was ******* that waitresses son too Like come on
