Norah has huge promotion on Amazon/iTunes/Starbucks, etc. Plus she was heavily promoted by high-profile collabs, live/awards show/movie performances.

Come Away With Me was a phenomenon, probably the biggest album of the 00’s, so the hype was big.

beyonce's last 2 albums debuted with over 600k each, with just a few days on sale. guess the list is just for 2000-2009. bday can be added to the list with 541k.

B'Day sold 541K. The list jusr happens to end at #15. But shes had higher opening afterwards. 

 

Christina 1st week sales have always been horrible. So not suprised. :foxaylove3:
