Born This Way still below 1M daily streams despite Pride month, why?

The production is poor and messy. I get ear fatigue after listening to 2 songs from that album.

It was one of the most acclaimed albums of 2011, nominated for various Grammys including AOTY, but hey, an ATRL member in 2022 probably knows better :rip:

- Bloody Mary
- Heavy Metal Lover

- ScheiBe

- Government Hooker
- Electric Chapel
- The Edge of Glory

your fave could only wish to deliver this good of an album :coffee2:

Oh wow, she's #11. Drag me! :deadbanana:

Sorry for not keeping tabs on her as you do.

She was in the top 10 for the last week and Shakira kicked her out most probably for a day only. :deadbanana:

How worrying :ahh:

You said she was top 10 on a daily basis, you were wrong since she isn’t top 10 (literally on the day you said it), so the user rightly clocked you :rip:

Take the L.

The only reason she was in the top 10 for a quick minute is because the Top Gun OST is credited to her. She was N/A before and she is N/A again today. :celestial5:

What is there to stream ? The GP only listens to singles when it comes to old albums that were released before the streaming era and the single choices for BTW were atrocious. The lead single is a great song but the rest... nah.

your fave isn't there either and right now you are in a thread praising her streams over Gaga's :ahh:

Worry about Katy selling out those $30 discounted Vegas tickets to her toilet-inspired show. :celestial3:

I saw her there multiple times on the list published in the last few days and I wasn't aware that Shakira went viral for whatever reason and kicked her out.

Such a loss, she's the 11th most streamed yesterday, we'll be losing sleep over this :deadbanana:

Lady Ga Ga, the electro-pop artist, lasted one and a half era(s). The GP quickly lost interest after Yoü & I, which is a shame because Marry the Night is the best song on the album, and there are many gems like Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover, Government Hooker, etc.

For a QUICK MINUTE :deadbanana2:

She is CONSISTENT. Just because there's some female artist going viral here and there (like Kate Bush and Shakira atm) and kicks her out of the top 10 for a few days doesn't mean **** :rip:

#18 - Katy Perry 4,5B

Again, worry about your own fave :rip:

ok? it's just my personal opinion which could help to give insight on the topic. Not trying to have a sassy stan war. There are many others who think Garibay's production is messy. As an example, listen to the 3 minute mark onwards, it all descends into chaotic noise:

I'm by no means saying the songwriting or concept is bad, just that the production hasn't aged well and could be one of the reasons it doesn't have many recurrent streams.

It also wasn't one of the most acclaimed albums of 2011, it only has 71 on Metacritic.

I don't have a 'fave' but I like many artists who have released better albums, Gaga being one of them.

Only two years passed since the 2020's decade started, knowing GaGa's history I wouldn't call her "consistent" especially this early.

Most of you have been doubting this woman for a decade now and she has proven you wrong over and over again, forcing out mental gymnastics from her obsessed haters to shift goal posts time and time again.

From getting #1 singles to number #1 albums, playing the SBHT, winning more Grammys, winning an Oscar, becoming an acclaimed singer and actress, she has continuously managed to outperform expectations and y'all simply NEVER learn.

''Only two years passed since the 2020's decade started''...

You shouldn't act surprised if she pulls out another hugely successful project till the end of the decade that shatters your stupid goalposts once AGAIN.

However, I'm sure you'll find something else to set her against.

She's done 10x more than most A list female pop stars have ever achieved and yet some of you still act like she has anything to prove in this industry.

14 years IN and SHE'S HERE TO STAY.

Just as she will manage to keep herself relevant and IN DEMAND by scoring hits, big acting roles and playing out stadium tours across multiple continents, she will continue to stay ON YOUR MINDS for years to follow.

Deal with that and have several seats.

The OP including Chromatica but not The Fame, predictable :dies:

BTW had 100k less daily a week ago, it will reach 1m at some point during this month and this thread WILL backfire, just like most of the threads made by the OP :rip:

You do know why this thread was created right? I knew they’d SNAP

because Gaga is currently bringing in box office money as a composer for TopGun and selling tickets for a stadium tour, instead of her label buying fake followers and TikTok trends only to lose money discounting tickets to less than a McDonalds. Oh and just a daily reminder:-

That album aged like milk, I'm not surprised that a supposedly iconic and memorable album that only spent 50 weeks on the BB200 is barely scratching 1M daily streams.

Would love to see how much of those streams are from the US only, I bet over 80%

baboon-newspaper.gif

Looking at how low Gaga's streams are, it is safe to say Taylor gets more streams in or out of the US but let's check the numbers,

Spotify

1989

WW - #28

US - #59

Red TV

WW - #33

US - #42

Reputation

WW - #40

US - #74

Lover

WW - #41

US - #53

Folklore

WW - #57

US - #70

Looks like you are very wrong.
