Schhh Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Labelled as "the greatest album of the decade", Gaga's Born This Way keeps receiving significantly less streams compared to other female pop albums released during the same period. What's concerning is that this continues to be the case even during the Pride month, with the title track constantly being hailed as one of the biggest gay anthems of all time. The album has never crossed one million daily streams. Daily Spotify streams: Katy Perry - Teenage Dream - 2,967,755 Lana Del Rey - Born To Die - 2,498,098 Adele - 21 - 2,475,570 Taylor Swift - Speak Now - 1,659,599 Rihanna - Loud - 1,536,269 Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence - 1,468,951 Rihanna - Unapologetic - 1,416,898 Katy Perry- Prism - 1,396,505 Lorde - Pure Heroine - 1,363,902 Taylor Swift - Red - 1,199,981 Beyonce - I am Sasha Fierce - 1,193,812 Miley Cyrus - The Time Of Our Lives - 1,167,492 Kesha - 1,149,301 Rihanna - Talk That Talk - 1,119,957 Katy Perry - One of The Boys - 1,058,888 Lady Gaga - Chromatica - 1,007,291 Lady Gaga - Born This Way - 961,758 Why is this Gaga album struggling to catch up with others (especially with albums like Animal, One of The Boys, I am Sasha Fierce who were released years before BTW)? Please discuss peacefully.

Beyoncé Knowles Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Lady Gaga - Chromatica - 1,007,291 Even after collaborating with Ariana and blackpink?!
By the Water Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Not it getting stomped on by Speak Now and og Red
Hot Volcano Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 The OP including Chromatica but not The Fame, predictable BTW had 100k less daily a week ago, it will reach 1m at some point during this month and this thread WILL backfire, just like most of the threads made by the OP
Antisocialites Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Not Miley's little 2009 EP outdoing Chromatica and Born this Way

Lament Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Teenage Dream is getting 3M streams a day? I had no idea!
Archetype Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 OP I’d recommend you actually listen to the album so you could answer your own question. BTW sticks out like a sore thumb in the list of albums you made, and it has nothing to do with numbers.

Icarus Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Didn’t she just do a 10 year anniversary version last year like it’s some beloved record?

Bimbo Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Worry about your republican fave not having 4k people interested in seeing her live for the price of a cocktail
Dr.Cake Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Even with Pride playlisting, the playlist exposure of BTW on Spotify is nowhere near IASF, OOTB etc.
Johnny Jacobs Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 rih the gay pride queen lana born this way wasnt even that successful then.. so a decade later its not surprising

Just goes on to show how seriously some artists on this list are even taken What else could u wish for?
