She is doing fine, didn't they just add more shows recently? she is doing 40 shows in less than 1 year, thats huge i believe that last ones who did 40 shows in 1 year are Jlo & Britney

I've seen some pics and videos from her last shows and they don't look like 30% sold out. But good to see her second fan base expecting those numbers, maybe she can outdo their expectations.

its harder to perform in vegas as a lesser known act/C-list celebrity singer. For example Celine Dion or Britney are more successful because they are big acts. Katy isn't as big as them.

 

Her equals would be people like Ross Lynch, Kelsey Ballerini, Remy Ma or Dinah Jane and none of those people would do well in Vegas because of lack of recognition.

Of course they're not going to look like that on show day. They give hundreds, if not thousands of tickets away for free so that her shows don't look empty. It happens to everyone who can't sell.

On a more serious note, a big part of why she artificially inflates her social media stats is so she can demand more money. If the companies that hired her did their research and/or had competent business teams, they'd see how fishy it is for someone with 100m+ followers in IG to get on average less than 500k likes per post.
