Another recent poll by Trafalgar Group showed a similar trend (https://www.audacy.com/krld/news/national/majority-think-teachers-should-be-armed-poll). I didn't include them in the OP because if memory serves me correctly, they are known for being right-leaning (or maybe I'm mixing them up)

So instead of providing more funds to social services and helping to pass the common-sense law, they will be passing more guns?  It's only a short amount of time when a group of deranged students overpowers a teacher and steal his/her gun.

The Defund the Police movement has really freaked people out, even minorities in poor areas. Now everyone is looking to take matters into their own hands to protect themselves. There’s a lot more going on here than just Americans acting like Americans. There is fear that the country is out of control. Rioting, looting, and mass shootings have people fearing for their lives.  Unfortunately, fear leads to people doing irrational things, so I don’t see any of this turning out well in the end. It’s really depressing.

well the solution would be...how to NOT LET the gun lobbyists bribe the politicians? How can that be done?  It eventually worked with the tobacco companies.

Gun ownership amongst black Americans is historically due to a distrust of the police, not people who wanna defund them. How is everything you post always so inaccurate and wrong?
