Yeah the pacing ruined this for me, I couldn't get into it at all or care in the slightest about the characters as it felt like we jumped through so many moments without a second to breath  Shame as its one of my favourite books but I low key hated this

I love it, the pacing is **** and the acting is debatable at times but I loved it for what it was. I wish we got more lesbian media like this and Heartstopper though :(

Such a cute gay movie.

Its giving Disney Channel original at times but who cares, i did love some of those Disney Channel movies. 

The two leads are so insanly hot and actually have chemistry and charisma.

 

But anyone think the President mother acting is so bad like outrageous bad. The whole movie i was like she looked just like Uma Thurman but i cannot believe its actually Ms Uma Thurman when the credit rolling, hows on earth the acting is that noticeably bad with a major actress like that.

Me and my bf is laughing hard at the end when they talk about a big crowd cheering for them outside the palace. And then We never see that crowd, like Amazone being a cheap ass ***** is so funny.

Haven’t read the book or knew much going in…it truly is giving Wattpad realness and an absolutely ludicrous fantasy of a scenario but…I loved it. Fun and a cute love story. Wish the pacing of their romance / fallout was better developed but oh well

Why would the author be fuming when every edit made is just promoting the film more? And the book. And she's making money from it. I wish she never said those things about Taylor though. I hope Swifties can enjoy the film regardless.

OT: this movie was cute except the obvious pacing issue. And I don't get why Amazon didn't put more money, it looks so low budget  like it was very obvious this movie would be a hit why couldn't they give 1/1000 of LOTR tv series budget to this movie

Yeah, she was definitely a miscast for this movie.  That accent she did was so awful and not convincing in the least.

Uma Thurman nearly single handedly brought down this movie with her accent, but other than that it was cute and watchable. The leads are very attractive
