it's cute i like it but i think i'm going to agree with the jack "overreactions" :chick3:

It sounds like a Bleachers song, but I REALLY like it tbh

That’s what Jack should’ve done in Solar Power…

YESSSS, the first thing that came to mind it's that it sounded exactly like a Rostam production from Half-Light or VW era, mixed with Kishi Bashi, the girlies in here just don't know :jonnycat:

It's not bad. Far from their best. Also seems they parted ways with Polydor/Interscope?

I love this:jonny:i love matty's sense of humor and i really hope michelle is featured more on the album :jonny:

This is trash.

It’s cute. I like the verses more than the chorus

This is amazing. Very Vampire Weekend meets Bon Iver meets Bleachers.

Not feeling this at all, unfortunately.

i SCREAM every time i see Jack collecting yet another alt girl/act :bibliahh:

this is great tho, it's kinda continuing the slower sound on NOACF like jesus christ and the birthday party

Posted

They never disappoint me tbh. :clap3:

I’m sure the song will make sense in the context of the album, but not really something I wanna listen to by itself

Bleachers vibes are heavy here

This is excellent, better than those overbearing NOACF singles. It’s like a Vampire Weekend song with a touch of Venice B*tch flavor, mmm.

This is not good. Usually Matty’s lyrics are expected to be a bit pretentious but this is just :rip:

Hmm best song ever actually

its sounds like a paul simon song

I finally realised what it reminds me of, Bon Iver 22, A Million. It's not as good as most songs on that album but I do like it. The lyrics are kinda pretentious but I feel like thats a given with The 1975 and i feel like Matty's just playing into that image on purpose now.

I do not like this at all :noparty:

its cute i guess :katie:

The problem with it being a Bon Iver ripoff is that the "my my my" part sounds exactly like the "my my my" part in Skinny Love :toofunny3:

I don't love it on first listen, but I feel like it'll make more sense as part of the full album.

Yeah kind of a WEIRD first single……like it’s not bad but like…..they can do better lol. And I’m not even a big fan.

Its a nice nod to the 2009 indie blog era with the Vampire Weekend/Ra Ra Riot sound but that chorus is a wasteland. Like I know what they’re going for but yea…….wasteland.

also Im

sorry but that video :rip:

Rip off much ? Jk
