Anyone but them. They had their own Real World and did nothing with that despite it being a hit and talked about on social media for MONTHS.

I would love if it moved to MTV. We know they’ve been a bit more steamy, so they could get away with airing more and that network (despite it’s flaws) does NOT play that racist crap, so they would actually shut down any type of microaggressions. And in a perfect world that would happen and then the live feeds can stay on Paramount+ since MTV is under the Viacom umbrella.

Do you mean Twentysomethings? I ain’t think it was that good :deadbanana4:

MTV’s Challenge ensemble is also trash so I don’t know how shifting to a smaller subsidiary would help, just bring in less viewership. It just needs to go higher than their jurisdiction and be indicative of the producers/Chenbot. But they all seem relatively close so I don’t think it’d be upended unless CBS themselves found a reason to nuke the current regime.

Yes, that show.

Well that’s kinda apples and oranges don’t you think? The Challenge doesn’t allow regulars to come on anymore, but BB always has. So that comparison doesn’t make much sense. Netflix would ruin it because they don’t do anything with their reality shows to tap into the shows full potential or it would be cancelled without warning :rip:

Cody wins HoH and was gonna put my King, Josh, up but King was too cracked out and stole da immunity apple

Cody nominates Jillian & Megan

Megan self evicts and then he nominates Alex

Alex wins veto and he then nominates Paul

Paul has da pendant of protection which meant he couldn't be nominated for three weeks (Alison working her magic)

Cody finally nominates Arbor Day and Jillian is sent home

All this after Cameron was sent home on Day 1

this is definitely the messiest first week of big brother

  1. the taylor targeting and bullying
  2. the online and media backlash to taylors treatment
  3. a houseguests mental health declining
  4. that houseguest leaving
  5. juliechenisover trending on twitter after her dumba$$ interview
  6. potential non eviction this week and twist flop

lmaoooo

I wonder if the houseguests know that the live feeds have been off for 24+ hours.  I wonder what Joseph and Pooch are up to :flower:

Variety has their foot on Chen-Moonves' neck :deadbanana:

I'm honestly really surprised that they bothered to do this in the first place since this just happened with Chris Harrison and would've at least set a precedent, but clearly not. :deadbanana4:

They need to keep it all the way light. I get why they're mad as they don't think a week's worth of bad behavior is worth their annual firestorm and now want to innocuously edit it to make it look better than it is, but they're going to be in for a long summer having lead with this, having to deal with the Paloma situation AND knowing they have a bad batch that are just going to escalate as they get into more actually dramatic situations.

Hopefully the media continues the pressure for the mess that's to ensue because I'd be more than happy with Julie, Alison and Rich being jobless, but it's just strange knowing that Les' fingerprints are still all over CBS while this has still continued running as normal.

Both Grodner and Julie are hags (excuse my language) that needs to be replaced in order for this franchise to have some kind of refreshment. Casting team needs more diversity too within.

this was clearly about the way the HGs were treating Taylor and she knows it and co-signed it. Don’t try to reverse now. Should have kept her mouth closed

And it's so funny to me that this narrative of social media being the problem and that's what's making the show bad that's really sending me, because it's clear that if people like the host and the previous winner from two seasons ago are parroting this position, they've sold and completely interpret the show the wrong way behind the scenes :deadbanana4:

One, it proves that their reach and relevance is so low that their built-in niche is holding them by the balls every year for even the slightest bit of accountability, and two, it shows that they're missing the point. A show based on 24/7 Internet feeds as the hook (since the challenges/production element of it is horrendous compared to literally any other reality show) lives and dies by social media in 2022. It's not rocket science.

A heavy handed EP that can shut down HG's behavior the second something even looks like it's going left + deep BIPOC diversity in casting/vetting would flip the tides so easily. They act like ******* babysitters who can't control bad kids :bibliahh: be serious!!!
