Let's hope so

She'll be performing at Rock in Rio, in Lisbon, so I guess she'll have new song(s) by that time!

Let's hope so

One week left hopefully! She announced close to me like 2 days beforehand so this will probably be the same

If we‘re looking back she barely officially announces or teases new music the week before the release week. So I‘m not surprised.

For example: Delirium and OMM announcement and OMM release happened in the same week. Close To Me, Flux, Sixteen, Power, Hate Me were all released in the week of their announcement.

Only Worry About Me and New Love got announced/teased the week before its release.

And Brightest Blue may got announced the week after the release of Power but it got teased the day before

The way she might be releasing at the same time as Beyonce :rip:

The thing i hope most for this era is its rolled out properly and not like how BB was rolled out. BB would have done pretty well if the album came out around the same time as close to me / hate me

Where the hell is the announcement? :rip:

I dont think anything is coming next week or even this month... let's hope an announcement is coming tomorrow

She's going to hell. I was really hoping it's some joke, but it's not. Easy Lover, a nearly 6 year old song now is a lead of EG5. It also has a completely unnecessary feat :skull: The MV is weird af too, doesn't fit the era aesthetics at all. Why was she rehearsing Let It Die choreo for days... they had promo assets for it ready too, just to switch to this.

Remember she had that NOTD collab, Afrojack & another Calvin collab and many other collabs with DJ's but they always got cancelled? :bibliahh::rip:

It's still a good song and a bop, but it's just so... I vividly remember the song getting registered somewhere in like 2016 as Calvin collab, then later it was reworked for BB with Greg Kurstin and almost made it to the album and now years later they added a feat and are making it a lead instead of fresh new material :dies:

Is it at least over three minutes long? :lakitu:

Is it better than the OG lead single (the one you guys have been teasing for a while) or worse?

Regardless of freshness?

sounds like a mess already...

Why would you make a 6 year old song a lead single when they clearly never saw any potential in it....

I think everyone figured out the former lead we knew about with SV and the one she's been dancing to in those clips was Let It Die, a LOSTBOY produced electrodance track. Easy Lover is much more summery so maybe the switch makes sense, it's a typical Greg Kurstin pop production, could easily find its place on Delirium next to Something In the Way You Move
