The thread became an echo chamber in record time. Actual non-binary people are fine. But neopronouns & kinself **** is making a mockery of our community & IDC if it’s unpopular to say. Those ppl are just nuts

I’m confused, how on earth are you fine with NB people but have an problem of how they wanna be referred? Not coming for you just genuinely asking an question.

Some sour apples are enough to ruin an entire movement IMO, there's some truth to it. The ones at fault are the homophobic ones though, not the people fighting for their rights. I don't believe in the whole pronouns thing but why should I kick a minority when they are down? Not hard to live and let others live.

Technically, yes. But it's not that non-binary people have hurt our movement. Rather, the bigots who aim their vitriol and violence at them have hurt our movement. Those are two different things that we should not conflate.

In the eyes of the ignorant GP, yes.

Non binary people gave us more reasons to stand up and be loud and proud of our community. :gaycat4:

hold on... there are people that actually use these "they/them" pronouns outside of social media & expect people to call them by those pronouns? :biblio: I believe if anything, this "self discovery" or whatever is supposed to be a personal thing

I'm genuinely sorry that you're this ignorant. I implore you to educate yourself on non-binary people and their existence throughout history, because this isn't it.
