Calabasas/Hidden Hills etc don’t have homeless people because it’s a suburb above the canyons filled with private gated neighborhoods with security. @OP Caruso has a good reputation amongst a majority of the wealthy and upper/upper-middle class residents in suburbs and western LA. He’s responsible for The Grove, The Commons at Calabasas, Pacific Palisades’ downtown revival, etc. He is definitely a republican by philosophy, but people tend to love the real estate developments he’s involved himself with. Regardless, he’s the last person who would ever know how to deal with homelessness and rising crime rates aside from the generic “more police” solution that politicians have been spouting forever.
