Summer Walker’s first-week streams, records set on Apple Music, overall units moved as well as Hot 100 & BB200 performances say otherwise.

 

Plus her biggest hit isn’t a crossover Pop feature with Doja Cat (thus far).

This is for 2020s only. Lover 1 million units ahead of 30. Must say Adele had a big drop from her previous album. Diamond to struggling to reach 3 million units is not good. I like the album but people are not patient enough for 6-7 minute long songs. Long gap between 25 and 30 also had to do with it.

She isn't doing anything to promote the album either. She let it die.

I love Adele but this is big underperformance. I bought the album 3 times, I’m not hating on her please. She needs to release Can I Get it for summer and I Drink Wine for winter. She needs a hit to keep album stable because streaming era revolves around hit singles, not sales sadly.
