Harry breaks Taylor’s vinyl record with time to spare

That’s because you can buy 4 per person of the “limited” vinyl at his pop-up so anybody with a brain cell is buying more than 1 copy & selling them on Discogs/eBay. I made $50 profit bc it was in my city & I don’t even like the guy’s music. Stats alone don’t mean anything

Wouldn't that mean there's huge demand? People wouldn't buy so many copies to sell them online if there wasn't anyone willing to buy them. Those copies sold to people are most likely going to be bought quickly anyway.

Harold is the male Taylor confirmed.

Style feat. Harry Styles (Taylor Version from the Vault) is coming!

that said, i'm sure taylor will easily beat it with 1989.

I'm more curious about her numbers if she actually dropped a brand new album

considering taylor sold like 50 versions of folklore of her in wheat grass in different positions, i don't see how this isn't still a win for harry?

Taylor broke the record with Red TV, not Folklore but i agree with your point.

OT : Congrats :clap3:

Style feat. Harry (TV) will break records :jonnycat:

i don't care that taylor sold 50 copies of her in the grass or digitally autographed singles, to me its business and it makes sense if the market will purchase it and push sales :deadbanana2:

im just saying knocking harry for having multiple versions is weirdo behavior especially if any swiftie is trying it :rip:

a) That user is not a Swiftie :rip:

b) Kii at you entirely missing the irony that you are doing exactly what that person said would happen, which is dunk on Folklore when Harry did the same thing to achieve this number :rip: :rip:

c) Folklore is irrelevant in this conversation because that is not the album she set vinyl records with. The two she did, Evermore and Red TV, had literally just two variants. So your argument is moot on two points :rip: :rip: :rip:

I'm literally not dunking on it. I have no issue with taylors marketing and never had - and I don't have an issue with Harry's either? I said it is still a win.

As for your last point, tomato tomawto, if you're selling multiple versions of the same album you're doing the same thing? And again, it is not an issue. I'll even go as far to compliment both of them further that they have the demand to release multiple versions.

Categorizing Taylor selling 8 versions of vinyl for one week as "50 versions of folklore of her in wheat grass in different positions", when you were the one to bring her up and not the person you were quoting, doesn't sound like someone who "doesn't have an issue" :rip:

The literal point once again is that no one is going to being going around saying Harry sold "50 versions of Harry's House in the upside down" to describe his vinyl variants, meanwhile OTHs bring it up in every thread about Taylor's commercial success.

And this is besides the fact that it is once again irrelevant to this thread because Taylor didn't do that for the records she DID set the record on :deadbanana4:

And once again, the record wasn't set by Folklore omfg :deadbanana4: :deadbanana4:

Thanks for proving once again your comment was off topic nonsense? :rip:

The way YOU don't even believe this...

The way you typed this entire thing without breathing one time.

It's ok that Harry is breaking records.:clap3:

folklore vinyl sales counted as digital sales, as all copies included a digital download and those were delivered to the consumer first. Realistically folklore had the vinyl record but that’s never gonna count ddd :rip:

Harry’s is extremely impressive as his copies retail for about $40 for a single LP, that’s less accessible than most huge releases (Taylor sans Red but that was a 4xLP, Adele).

Funny how nobody drags him for "clocking up the factories" when he realistically needed to press at least 500k copies to deliver 150k in the US alone in the first 3 days :celestial5:

500K is half the 1M Adele pressed, it's a lot but HALF is not really comparable. The problem was that others couldn't press because of her and it made headlines, nobody complained about that here. He's also selling them so I fail to see the issue

Adele didn't even press 1m, the number that was revealed was 500k and she sold those last year...

All that fuss for 500k? That's a normal amount of sales?? I read everywhere that it was 1m ATRL told me so many times... I wouldn't even think 1m was a lot if they wanted to stock up for the whole year.

If you sell the copies then I see no issues with "clogging the factories"

They did the most because she didn't sell them first week but she ended up selling all those in 4-5 weeks but you know this is atrl, they feel the need to hate on and drag everything.
