Archetype Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Very sad. In before the conservatives scream about the teachers forming a militia to protect students with guns
Rv1709 Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 I hope there aren’t casualties! this seems to happen very very frequently in the states and not in other countries.
Uncatena Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 tragic and deeply upsetting. and absolutely preventable…
Cameltoe Chariot Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 (edited) America still thinking it's the land of the free and the most enviable place to live on the planet... meanwhile the rest of the world thinks its a total shithole I can't even imagine living there and doing normal things like going to school or grocery shopping, with the fear of being randomly shot in the back of my mind. Still thinking of everyone having to deal with this. An elementary school shooting is every parents worst nightmare, and it's ridiculous this country doesn't do anything to try and stop it.
scenekiller Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 This country is a disgusting unlivable mess. I don't know if we can ever be fixed.
Velvet Night Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Not an elementary school. This is heartbreaking and shouldn’t be happening to children. I wonder what needs to happen before the US draws the line?
ELT Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 (edited) Watching the Breaking News coverage on ABC, 14 deaths so far. I'm sick. Edited May 24, 2022 by ELT

Patient Zero Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 This is depressing. I'm really tired of hearing such news. I'm so glad I'm not living in USAssholes The gun policy there just makes me livid

PoisonedIvy Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 I absolutely hate having young, elementary school age siblings in this day and age. Every single day I hope that nothing happens to them. I am so sorry that these families had to experience this. I’m also in Texas so it hits kind of close to home
Happylittlepunk Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 But why an elementary school? What will conservatives say now?
Airhead Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 The shooter killed his grandmother before going into the school and killing elementary students. SICK!
FameFatale Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Extremely heartbreaking. I hate to say it but there will be more "thoughts and prayers" and zero change. Nothing happened after Sandy Hook.
