The album only released on streaming/digital. Where did you get cassette sales from? No CDs, vinyls or cassettes were ever made for the album.

It does not.

Adele did 839K+ with just one version, but of course she's above everyone else in the music industry when you talk about numbers.

Harry's doing great. I'm sure the album is gonna be doing amazing numbers in the upcoming weeks.

Stability

Not everyone has that.

No other pop act is doing Sour's streams :rip: especially not her average per track... Harry's House was only 31,000 units short of Sour's number anyway (223K Sour, 192K Harry's House).

Meanwhile Red TV 175K SEA, Fearless TV 109K SEA, Evermore 175K SEA, and even Folklore, which did marginally better, was aided by its long tracklist and was behind Harry's House in terms of average per track: Folklore 13,588 vs Harry's House 14,769.

Y'all will say anything to discredit big albums by people who aren't your faves. Embarrassing :rip:

OT: I'm so proud of him

The US proportion of Harry's Spotify numbers is a bit low and the Apple music performance hasn't been great. Sour and TUN were both short albums that have done better. So I don't think there's any thing wrong with expecting a higher SEA from him. Especially when male artists have generally higher number.

Anyway, it's weekday performance has been healthy and it should have a good hold SEA wise next week.

The US proportion is low because he's huge globally, not because the US numbers aren't big. He literally debuted #1 in the UK, Ireland, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, and Sweden (so far), territories most anglo artists don't touch (like Germany, France, and Italy) or breaking records (UK, Australia) :rip: most of the artists you see doing huge US % do so because they don't really get that many streams worldwide.

Sour and TUN are outliers that no other pop acts (not even Ariana herself, for instance) can replicate. Male or female, short or long tracklist.

Major pop albums since 2016 (streaming era) ranked by average per track:

  1. Ariana Grande - thank u, next (2019) - 244K SEA, 12 tracks - 20,333 per track
  2. Olivia Rodrigo - Sour (2021) - 223K SEA, 11 tracks - 20,272 per track
  3. Harry Styles - Harry's House (2022) - 192K SEA, 13 tracks - 14,769 per track
  4. Taylor Swift - Folklore (2020) - 231K SEA, 17 tracks - 13,588 per track
  5. Adele - 30 (2021) - 147K SEA, 12 tracks - 12,250 per track
  6. The Weeknd - After Hours (2020) - 169K SEA, 14 tracks - 12,071 per track
  7. Taylor Swift - Evermore (2020) - 175K SEA - 11,666 per track
  8. Taylor Swift - Lover (2018) - 188K SEA, 18 tracks, 10,444 per track

  10. Ariana Grande - Positions (2020), 132K, 14 tracks - 9,428 per track
  11. The Weeknd - Dawn FM (2022) - 134K, 16 tracks - 8,375 per track

  31. BTS - Love Yourself: Tear (2018) - 35K SEA, 11 tracks - 3,181 per track
  32. Shawn Mendes - Shawn Mendes (2018) - 40K SEA, 14 tracks - 2,857 per track
  33. Lady Gaga - Joanne (2016) - 31K SEA, 11 tracks - 2,818 per track
  34. Taylor Swift - Reputation (2017) - 22K SEA, 15 tracks - 1,466 per track

Even comparing with non-pop male acts Harry's average per track is impressive :rip:

  • Bad Bunny - Un Verano Sin Ti (2022) - 261K SEA, 23 tracks - 11,347 per track
  • Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers (2022) - 258K SEA, 18 tracks - 14,333 per track
  • Kanye West - Donda (2021) - 272K SEA, 27 tracks, 10,074 per track
  • Future - I Never Liked You (2022) - 214K SEA, 16 tracks - 13,375 per track
  • Morgan Wallen - Dangerous, The Double Album (2021) - 191K SEA, 30 tracks - 6,366 per track
  • Jack Harlow - Come Home The Kids Miss You (2022) - 105K SEA, 15 tracks - 7,000 per track
  • Lil Baby - My Turn (2020) - 187K SEA, 20 tracks - 9,350 per track
  • Pop Smoke - Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon (2020) - 190K SEA, 34 tracks - 5,588 per track
  • Juice WRLD - Legends Never Die (2020) - 288K SEA, 22 tracks - 13,090 per track
  • Polo G - Hall Of Fame (2021) - 125K SEA, 20 tracks - 6,250 per track
  • Lil Nas X - Montero (2021) - 104K SEA, 15 tracks - 6,933 per track
  • Eminem - Music To Be Murdered By (2020) - 162K SEA, 20 tracks - 8,100 per track
  • Tyler, The Creator - Call Me If You Get Lost (2021) - 114K SEA, 16 tracks - 8,125 per track
  • Lil Uzi Vert - Eternal Atake (2020) - 278K SEA, 18 tracks - 15,444 per track

The only one on that list that did better average than Harry is Lil Uzi Vert and it's literally just +675 per track :rip: I'm trying really hard to find all of these "males" that do better than Harry average per track... where are they hiding?

You have Drake, Post Malone in the past, and idk... J. Cole?? Who else? Cause The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, BTS, all the male pop acts, don't come even close to Harry's average per track. And 95% of the male hip hop acts, which are notorious for having huge streaming numbers, especially in Apple Music (where all pop music struggles) are below it as well...

I'll remind you that he did this average with an album that leaked FULLY over a month before release in HQ. It was announced in the biggest radio station in the country that it had leaked and made international headlines. Also, the album also had 1 pre album single (that smashed, but then again, so did Jack Harlow and...).

Obviously there isn't anything "wrong" with expecting better SEA. It's not illegal or offensive lmao. But it's ridiculous because almost NO ONE does better SEA than that. The expectations you set for him are unrealistic and absurd. It reeks of trying to downplay his success...

Chill, I calculated wrong the first time, and completely ignored your reply, as I usually do with your ilk, then proceded to use the same number. The average isn't impressive either way, why would I purposefully lie :rip:
