"lost [her] career" is a stretch but like she kind of was "cancelled" as far as most "cancelling" goes. not to the point of losing her career but people were coming at her for literally everything. people wrote articles bashing her for saying that she had a good 2017  she experienced a lot of vitriol that only really started to slow down once she reclaimed it for herself with Reputation. I think her evaluation isn't totally inaccurate

Most of those tweets in that 2017 article were usual Twitter jokes with no or close to no actual ill intent towards her, and the most liked had 3k likes the fact that yall equating this to being "canceled" or a hate train shows Taylor's victim playing tactics have reached her fanbase as well, expected

also not sure if you're trying to antagonise someone but the replies and quotes to the original tweet mentioned in those articles are pretty intense as well. calling her a white nationalist and implying she's a Trump fan definitely doesn't read as a "usual joke with no or close to no actual ill intent" to me but to each their own I guess

Also no offense but her hatetrain wasn’t nearly as big as Michael’s or Janet. Janet’s career was actually affected by her being cancelled and racism played a huge part in it. Taylor didn’t experience a cancellation on that type of level. Her career never suffered
