Anti-Asian hate due to COVID is so so so wrong, and this also applies to this scenario.

So… I got my 2nd shot over a month ago and this Tuesday I started showing symptoms (dizzy when I would get up to walk, foggy brain, sore throat, fever) by the second day I decided to take a COVID taste and negative, fever and sore throat came back stronger so the next day I took another COVID test to double check and it’s negative, so this is my 4th dealing with high fever (102F) and fevers are supposed to be gone by the 3rd or 4th day.

today I woke up with a funny small looking pimple with the dot in the middle that people post online.

so I’m on my way to the ER so I can find out, the sore throat is unbearable I can’t even swallow my own saliva and the fevers are intense and a lot of sweat. I can’t think of anything else it could be it has to be monkeypox I thought I was safe since a long time has passed since my second shot.

You're considered fully vaccinated 14 days after your second dose. Keep us posted.

I was at the ER cuz they ran all kinds of blood tests on me, even STDs and everything comeback negative.

they ended up diagnosing me with laryngitis the once that cannot be treated with antibiotics so apperently my throat was in such a bad shape it was causing all the other symptoms as a response. The doctor says there’s no treatment beside painkillers and numbing spray and to just ride it out until the pain goes away but it’s been a nightmare trying to drink or eat anything. I haven’t had a full meal in over a week.  Just bites here and there and a couple sips of water.

I am getting better but I’m still concerned I had to break outs on my face that looked just like monkeypox pimples but I guess they just didn’t find the virus on my body.

im just really worried about giving it to my cat since he always wants to jump on my and play with me whenever he sees me.

@MotoPapi I guess that's a relief it's not those other issues despite the pain :doc: Good luck and feel better soon

Got my 2nd shot last week and this one was intravenous. Idk if I had an alergic reaction or if it's supposed to work like this but I got a big red spot around the place the needle went in :deadbanana2:
