Twitter drags Lori Harvey for diet

1200 is reasonable when it comes to deficits.
Her body is absolutely gorgeous and if she’s happy and healthy then that’s all that matters.

Agree with other posts stating only people who can’t/don’t want to eat a certain way and diet to look like this are mad about it.

People need to understand losing weight is a highly individualised process

Iirc 1200 calories is the absolute minimum any adult should be eating regardless if you want to lose weight or not

If you're not a short woman eating that little without medical supervision can be dangerous

It's her life. If she wants to eat 1200-1400 calories a day, let her.

On a sidenote, it sucks that she's sort of ruined her looks with the filler, surgeries etc.

People are so miserable first they say skinny shaming isn’t real but proceed to lecture every skinny persons and act they have ED or are anorexic if they lose some weight :michael:

That person with a degree in nutrition sciences should ask for a refund if she can’t understand that 2-3 year olds need to sustain rapid body growth within a few years while an adult woman that is trying to lose a few pounds does not.

but what’s ur definition of a ‘long period of time’ . weeks, months, years? the human body can survive over 3 weeks without any food at all - it’s more than capable of being in a calorie deficit for a couple months. i swear some ppl think weight loss is magic and as soon as someone explains a very basic method of how they lost weight the Internet accuses them of having an ED :deadbanana:

No but loosing weight too fast also makes u gain it back even faster

1200 is not that low for a short woman. I take 1400-1600 a day on my diet now and I'm 1.90 tall and I'm around 100 kg /220 pounds + do an hour and a half of cardio every day so if she's unhealthy then what am I lol

1400 calories a day if you're 220 pounds plus an hour and a half of cardio everyday...

Are you consulting with a doctor or seeing a therapist? This seems like a lot :dancehall:

Those insecure fat twitter people are so annoying and jealous, I thought it would be like 500 cal but 1200 is not low at all especially since she is a short woman. I would eat like 1200-1600 4 years ago when I was losing weight and I'm a tall guy and I also didn't just suddenly gain it all back (lol?) The myths about weight loss they make up just so they can stay fat :rip: The most common one I used to come across was ''starvation mode'' which somehow makes you gain weight from not eating enough :rip:(?)

it depends on how you come off the deficit tbh. a lot of ppl say this bc as soon as they finish their dieting they go straight back to eating how they used to . coming off a deficit and not gaining the weight back requires gradually building ur calories back up

1200 working out twice a day IS starving. She can starve herself, but please don’t promote it.  And stop saying “she’s healthy”, you don’t know that.

If i eat a lot would I be scrutinized? She clearly isn't starving herself or anorexic so they should stop being bossy and annoying

This doesn't seem bad at all. I do nearly the same thing actually. As a short woman (5'1) myself, I can say that we don't need a ton of calories to consume. I lost 42 pounds eating 1200 calories a day and working out all seven days of the week. There isn't a ton of Brian food unless you're eating the wrong food like simple carbs and lots of sugar. That's just me though ?

The person with the nutrition degree is overweight in that picture though. :rip:

She said she is eating 1200 calories to lose weight. I very much doubt she will stick with that permanently.

At the jealous ppl on twitter!

1200 is definitely too low. You’ll lose weight but **** up your metabolism in the process.

she was just telling the facts people who are mad are those who aren't disciplined

Lol don’t let her hear about bodybuilders cutting phase then. 1400cal daily is normal for some depending on your height/weight. They are not starving themselves, it’s only for a few weeks to lose body fat.

I don't know how short she is but if she's working out 2x a day, 1200 calories seems a little excessively low?  Like I get it if you live a sedentary lifestyle but if you are active that just seems like exhaustion waiting to happen?!

Like, I'm 6 ft, and a 1500-1700 a day calorie meal sounds like hell, and like I would immediately binge eat after a week of it.  Not really effective for the long term.

If it works, good for her though, I guess.  I wouldn't recommend it, I would recommend something more long-term oriented that's still a calorie defecit.

I would say it's a bit low if she's working out daily on top. I'm about the same height as her, and I tried 1200 kcal a day + working out daily, I lost weight quickly, but I would say I was definitely too hungry for comfort at times. Bodies are different, obviously, but that was my experience.

You'd be fine on a 1200 diet if you barely move during your day.

Starving yourself is not an effective way to lose weight in the long run. Because you’ll feel so hungry afterwards and overeat. Just eat enough nutritions and work out and you’ll eventually reach your goal weight. Don’t cut corners
