I think he’s joking, but if a persons says their type is a “6’5 black man with a 8 inch p*nis and dreadlocks” they are most likely fetishising them.

It's somewhat "expected" if you're a minority/foreigner somewhere. When I was in Mexico two months ago I had way more guys show interest in me on Grindr than usual. In other places I might have less "success." It happens.

This is true. I live in London, and the attention I receive on Grindr is okay for the particular area I live in, nothing too special.

I was in Instanbul last month for five days, on a work retreat, and my account was absolutely flooded with views/messages. It was crazy. 
 

I’m sure it’ll be the same when I’m in Scotland next week too.
