i’m gonna try my hardest to flesh out some more ideas this week, and actually warm up my voice before recording the song this time lol, i can sing a bit more ambitiously than how i did on you in those depths

 

also since i’m doing Kate i’m tempted to see if i can find time in the practice rooms on campus this week so i could maybe record my song with a piano :jonny5: which i’m super rusty at but could still make something pretty on

Hmm you never know really, as long as you focus on the lyrics the risk could pay off tbh instead of thinking about the fact that you are trying to write an upbeat song, just try to have fun with it I think, Lizzo has a very fun and carefree vibe and I think that might make for a refreshing entry!

I always stop to look at the candles too and they always look nice, but the smell is never giving what it is supposed to be giving!

I'm sorry about not doing the last round, I had euthanize my dog last Sunday and I really couldn't get anything started.

Ugh I used to have a whole list of dozens and dozens of words / phrases to use as potential song titles or lyric inspiration but I deleted it when I switched to my new phone because I thought I’d never write again. :rip:
