Omg TEA! SISTAR easily has some of the best discographies in K-Pop  While it was a shame they disbanded, I think they cemented their legacy and thankfully there weren't any messy disbandments or something, which gives us good memories!

This Hyolyn Queendom performance of TMB made me relisten to SISTAR again when the performance came out  The memories ugh

RIGHT??? I was so afraid that something could've happened but she nailed that intro so well 

And the vocals were out of this world too  She really set the standard for Queendom 2 performances lbr because I don't think we would've gotten WJSN's Pantomime performance or the Tell Me Now dance performance for example if it weren't for the bar Hyolyn set

I agree that we definitely need more mature K-Pop girl groups  K-Pop Gen 2 was surely an amazing period in K-Pop for sure

Babe you're telling me, I've had concepts for my remaining Aurenaissance album tracks since this time last year and still haven't gotten out of my way to bring them to fruition. Something I experienced in Round 1 was finding out how helpful it is to get into the vibe and aesthetic of your song. I was originally going to leave the cover art and formatting (font, background colour etc) for last after I finished writing the actual lyrics. But I followed my intuition and made cover art etc before finishing the lyrics and it truly helped me to get more into the groove of my song. Surrounding myself with the actual colour and feel of honey really helped me to capture the essence of my song.

 

Having a visual for your song really helps so that it is not just words you're working with. A visual, an instrumental, a melody - these can be useful features of the songwriting process to help encourage and stimulate creativity, even though they are not the words or things you'll be judged for. Just something to consider!
