Well that is a little unfair.  Taylor and Adele are not in the same league.  Taylor is one of the biggest artists of all time and Adele is a fad from the early 2010s.  Adele's 4th album can't even compete with a re-recording of Taylor's 4th album.

Charts do not represent overall commercial success. I am fine with 30 being the most profitable album of 2021,  RIAA 3x platinum already and selling 2,4M on billboard 200 + probably getting the year-end #1 female album on billboard 200 and possibly overall too That's already better than some main pop girl's peaks. After the SMASH that are 21 and 25, this is actually pretty great. It did what it had to do. Anything else is just a bonus.

Plus, it was bound to happen. It isn't a commercial or a streaming friendly album. I never expected it to have longevity on the charts. But it was commercially a success nonetheless.

Good for Taylor for being huge in the US, her home country.

You're making zero sense. It's charting that high because of streams, not sales. How are stans "spending thousands of $" exactly?  Maybe Taylor albums are just bigger than you seem to think?

30 is not really an streaming album and Adele abandoned the era, so there's nothing left. Still, this era was an underperformance for her standards as i predicted before its release (and some people made fun of me
