ExHuman Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Just checked this guy on twitter and he only have 1 million followers
Blue Monday Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Bad Bunny is way more established than Jack, especially worldwide. The Dua Lipa song is looking like a great choice for single number 2 so I think his album will do what he needed it to do; establish him as an artist to a wider audience. His next album could be massive depending on how this one performs over time.

AMX Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Yes and no. Benito is a known stream monster but Jack Harlow is being pushed heavily. Promotion is being done everywhere with insane playlisting, not even Dua or Justin B are seeing him. I thought it was possible for Jack.
rta1913 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I think the success of First Class made people think he could pull an upset. It was obvious Benito would win. He keeps getting bigger and bigger. At the end of the day both albums are bad, but Jack’s the worst. Not a single good song.
diamondsky Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 (edited) Quote Bad Bunny devours Jack Harlow I would watch OT: the more talented international sensation with acclaimed albums won. Stream the summer smash Otro Atardecer now! Edited May 7, 2022 by ☆lex

Cheers Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 No. Bad Bunny basically has a monopoly on the latino market. Did anyone genuinely think Harlow stood a chance

The guy has several albums worth of great songs...I suggest starting with Krippy Kush and Estamos Bien and work your way done from there. He had over 93 singles ( solo and featured) over a 6 year period. Hid biggest almost a bunch of his collabs with J Balvin ( including Cardis I Like It) Mia with Drake, Yo Perreo Sola, Dakiti, and Yonaguni

Un Verano is his best since YHLQMDLG Jacks album was just......boring other than Dua Lipa and Churchill Downs ( which is mainly Drake is acting trying for once)

Just like 4 songs. However I listened to it during a roadtrip so maybe I need another listen And yes, Jack’s was boring af. I didn’t have any expectations though, I didn’t like any of the two singles.

BloodLuster Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 that Buddy guy appeals to the lowest common denominator so no, not surprising.
Inverted Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 10 hours ago, Johnny Jacobs said: surprised yes but not because of jack more like bad bunny success overall.. hes doing above mpg numbers which is, wow. Why is that shocking? Pop girls have been over for a while and Bad Bunny has been successful for the past 5+ years. 7 hours ago, Erreur2 La Nature said: I meant Bad Bunny You won't like his music. You're not the demographic it appeals to. 1 hour ago, BloodLuster said: that Buddy guy appeals to the lowest common denominator so no, not surprising. Who on earth is buddy? Appealing to the lowest common denominator is more applicable to generic "stars" ATRL stans for like Billie Eilish and Jack Harlow. Unfortunately they're just fads.
