Girl you ain’t call nobody out. You ain’t nobody to me. You are always saying something negative about her though so why even stan lmao ? you fraudulent AF

Those deals don’t do **** for independent artists go educate yourself! Ciara is independent so unless she signs with some major label she isn’t going to be popping like y’all want her to. That doesn’t mean she can’t cause impact though which is what you’re refusing to see. Level Up was a viral success. Honestly that’s all it takes these days but also the longevity is key. Level Up had that. Til this day it’s being featured on ads and promo tv ads.

none of these deals will magically place her on top of the chart. It’s all about viral strategy and Ciara is building that up.

on the real though you fake af

if she did go with a distro with bmg that would place her back under the Sony umbrella and allow her to have access to better play-listing. I actually wish she would go with AWAL.

Girl shut it all the way up! I’ve been extremely critical of my fave. Actually funny enough a lot of the csquad don’t like me for it. However I’m not always negative or offer critique until I hear something. This person in particular seems to always jump on any Ciara thread and be negative music related or not. That’s what I’m talking about

LOl which quad member is this Tolisa ? Tonio ? or Taron

I know! It's so disappointing. It's prob my fave Ciara song. I was looking for it to add to my gym/summer playlist and couldn't find it :jonny:

"Sweat" didn't even flop tho. It was truly a time to witness cuz I've never seen a single get pulled right after release the way "Sweat" did. They were going full in on this song. They released the song to radio, announced they'd be shooting a video and all with a digital release in two weeks.... just for the song to disappear from radio, and the digital release was quietly scrapped :deadbanana2: It deserved this treatment tho tbh, I like it, but it was messy.

That Summer was so bizarre, it seems like Ci's team/LA didn't know what to do. They were literally going to release "Boy Outta Here" as a single (she rehearsed choreo, teased it on social media, and the single cover even leaked), and then THAT got scrapped at last minute too. :rip:

They finally got **** together when they dropped "Sorry" and "Got Me Good" later that year, but those songs tanked pretty hard even tho GMG is a staple in ha discography. :smitten:

I think they were also trying to push Livin It Up. They sent it out to radio djs and they shot a video on the beach that got scrapped. :skull:

Truly was a time to witness. Sorry unfortunately was Promise 3.0 and that just wasn't gonna fly, especially with that horrible spoken word outro (Which lowkey grew on me).

I'm so glad Body Party happened, the only thing I'll give Past is that he inspired her creatively in the right direction IMO. I love DUI, Sophomore, Overdose and LIU.

Yeah, and the solo version too. No clue why she had two Nicki features on one album like she was DJ Khaled :rip: I like that one video she had for Livin it Up though, that used to be on repeat.

Overdose video got scrapped too :ahh: That era started off so promising but ended so terribly.

Livin It Up is such a bop. The solo and the feature. I could take either one and be happy. Self titled is everything because it showcased her diversity without neglecting her R&B audience. She always dabbles across genres (mainly pop crossover), but I think she did it best on self titled. The flavor of that album has aged so well.

Eta: “DUI” is still that girl.

My sis will come out with the same dated thing she’s been serving for the last 10 years. I’ll still bop to it tho but..
