I actually love I Know Places but cannot STAND the production on it. Whoever was in charge of the vocal production on that song fumbled the bag, it's one of my most anticipated re-recorded tracks :jamming:

I Wish You Would has one of the best productions ever. So 80s!

I Know Places is one of the worst songs in Taylor’s discog… it must be said! :giraffe:

WTNY, SIO and HYGTG are all duds. This Love is a masterpiece.

When the Beatles came to Philippines during the dictator’s dark regime, they were assaulted on the airport by the regime’s fanatics. ???

Never again!

OT: This Love TV is the same but better.

Is anyone seriously forgetting the abomination, career-worst worthy song Bad Blood? Truly the bottom for her. Please delete

Ummmm not the I Know Places slander :doc:  The only meh song on 1989 is the track 5

The worst song on 1989 is HYGTG.

Not all of y'all being ATROCIOUSLY wrong in these 1989 takes :deadbanana2:

AYHTDWS is a cute bop with a nice hook, Shake It Off is immaculately and intricately layered and produced (and was her biggest hit for a reason), IWYW is fast paced and fun, Bad Blood is good in the gym and the Kendrick verses are pretty good, This Love is clearly a smash and a strong song, and I Know Places is a career highlight that all the other girls wish they had made.

Fight the REAL enemy. How You Make **** Music is truly the blandest song in Taylor's career. It's so vacant and filler-y that there's nothing about it to hate. The lyrics are stupid for a Taylor song, the production is the most generic Max Martin dance pop we've seen in Taylor's entire career (alongside MIAB I guess). It's a drag on the quality of the album, and all of my sistren still capable in their hearing will recognize how bad the song is. For those of you deluded into liking it, I'm so sorry you have to live that way and I'm praying you realize how wrong you are.

Thank goodness there's just the one BOMB on 1989 though and all of the other tracks have at least a few redeeming qualities :gaylorcat2:

I Know Places, HYGTG and WTNY suck, Shake It Off is so overhated :gayalipacat3:

What is this I Know Places slander. It's an amazing song, the angst is only unrivaled by several Speak Now tracks (Haunted comes to mind).

WTNY and BB are the worst songs in 1989.

At least This Love got the love it deserved in the end. Taylor's discography truly shines at the right time.

WTNY, BB, and IKP are objectively the trinity of weak links on 1989, all are cute girls, but cute next to gorgeous...
