Julia Fox Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 The GP would be here for it? The critics? The awards? what do you think? i think she could serve on that genre tbh and critically it would be well received but the GP would just let her have big numbers on first week and then sky falling into oblivion ala Perfect Illusion chart run in France or even worse
Sheep Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Taylor moving in to a space that popped up in response to her brand of generic drivel would be a literal transgression.

Taylor fanboy Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 I’m afraid the White Girl With Guitar swifties will not appreciate the flavour of hyperpop.
Julia Fox Posted May 4, 2022 Author Posted May 4, 2022 Just now, Karla Cabello said: this one is a serve Dylan Brady con do no wrong maybe Camila should book him for her next album I would STAN her!
shookspeare Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 y'all can listen to chromatica if that's what you want, Taylor is a folk singer now
vuelve88 Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 We need a hyper pop remix of "Dancing With Our Hands Tied"
Dystopian Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 that's like the one genre that would destroy her career, she's loved for her organic sound.

Yes, but not only for that. It’s her songwriting, voice and melodies and also she’s relatable by a lot of people. She could pull all of that with hyperpop

Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 God No, I rather her phone in a Dua Lipa dance album before going that route. The most electronic I want to hear from her is electropop. Reputation worked well with King of My heart and LWYMMD. But I don’t wanna here her on anything heavier

Yes, but not only for that. It’s her songwriting, voice and melodies and also she’s relatable by a lot of people. She could pull all of that with hyperpop her pop albums still sound very organic, it's always been her thing because it compliments her songwriting. she very rarely uses heavily electronic synths or computerized drums, reputation is her only overproduced album but even songs like lwymmd aren't overbearing.
CBC Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 She doesn't have the any range but her voice is actually perfect for it
TheArgonaut Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 That is literrally the most HORRID music genre there is, she better ******* not.
Archetype Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Why would she do something that is the complete opposite of her sound and personality? It's not just a sound, it's an entire aesthetic and I can't imagine a majority of her fans being here for it.
sweetblindness Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Critically/award-wise it might be lauded for the risktaking, but I don't see Taylor and hyperpop going hand in hand very well, much less her fanbase responding to it very well (and I'm saying that as a moderate Swiftie myself).
