it must be doing insane numbers on AM, because it hasn't outstreamed AIW a single day on spotify and the radio lead is huge

I think Future has a good chance to top the chart this week, I believe "WAIT FOR U" is openning with 40M+ streams, which is huge.

Future will knock Fancy Like out, probably Levitating & Save Your Tears, and maybe Good 4 U. G4U is so close to 52 weeks but may fall short.

Wow It’s gonna be a random number #1 debut, but I’m happy for him. It def got huge numbers on apple music cuz it failed to get strong numbers on spotify…

the hot 100 is going to have a clearing throughout May. All these songs are going to go recurrent. I'm sure it'll be a record now that all of these back to back album bombs are coming

Bad bunny, Jack, Kendrick, possibly Taylor, Harry, BTS.

Summer is definitely coming:clap3:

I wanted levitating to reach 52 weeks but Bad Bunny, Jack, Kendrick, BTS and possibly Taylor are not having that

Future getting a big album bomb just feels...weird I guess. But with how stagnant the charts have been, I'm fine with him killing off several songs. Maybe Good 4 U can survive though.

Idk about that. When we get successive album bombs, we end up getting less and less songs falling off in the long run.

1. The album bomb from the previous week will fall off a bit the second week (unless it is a massive album) so it absorbs most of the losses for other songs while the new album bomb takes shape. We saw that last year with J. Cole and Olivia.

2. If the first album bomb knocks out a bunch of songs, chances are there are less songs in danger of going recurrent remaining once the second album bomb hits. We saw that with Kanye and Drake last year. Kanye wiped off 8 songs from the Top 50 so when Drake came in with his record-breaking album bomb the following week, he was only able to knock out two additional songs because Kanye already did his damage so all that really happened was all the surviving songs in the Top 50 were just continuing to fall with all the chaos until both album bombs subsided.

3. Not every album bomb hits the Top 40 or Top 50 in huge clumps. So just because an album did well on streaming, it doesn't mean everything lands in the Top 40. This happens often with rappers as well as pop acts like Billie, Ariana and Taylor.

Future will knock out at least 4 songs, possibly 5 to 6 because of Morgan and Olivia. Need To Know is still very high on the Hot 100 so it might be able to weather the album bombs better.

But like I said, I'm tired of the stagnant charts so hopefully some songs will be allowed to gain after all the album bombs are over.

good 4 U will survive Future's album bomb (51 week on the chart) but Bad Bunny will probably send it to recurrent because he has like 23 songs unlike Future who had 16 songs in his album. Also Jack Harlow will chart some songs in the top 50 too and Taylor's This Love will probably also debut in the top 50

Timing is important too.

I don't see how many songs currently between 30-50 or even songs in the 50-100 range that are not gaining anymore and are just on because the lack of movement this first half of the year will survive Bad bunny and Jack concurrently, Kendrick, a possible Taylor release, Harry styles, then BTS and that's not if Beyonce ,Cardi, Nicki or someone else comes through with an album in the next 2-3 months.

Whatever Bad bunny and Jack can't clear, Kendrick and others will say hold my beer.

vQnJPD0.gif

A clearing that is months overdue.

I think a bunch of summer songs will debut this and next month to replace alot of the recurrent songs and I'm looking forward to it.

Yes and in the incoming weeks i'm sure 5-10+ songs will debut weekly and knockout other songs too.

Just looking at the bb hot 100 right now 30+ songs are likely going to be be out of the hot 100 this and next month and then the album bomb tracks won't last as long on the hot 100 so few songs will survive.Ha ha only the strongest will survive.
