Madonna tried hard to recreate "Cold Heart" and "Big Energy" but failed, Why?

Of course they did. They're feeling brave because their favs single is on the horizon. Their group discord chat must've been on fire with hate this morning after Madonna's performance, but this is the best they could come up wit?  :clown:

They are desperate to make anyone care about this drop. I don’t know if it’s a lead, a one-off, or a soundtrack, but it’s gonna bomb, unlike Madonna 10 years into her career. :clown:

She wants a Cold Heart sized hit desperately but she's not getting anywhere near it. :rip:

Baby she doesnt need anymore hits. She had multiple for like 20+ years. Worry about your fave who wont achieve half of what she has. :rip:

Changing labels and running to TikTok to be able to outstream the likes of cyndi Lauper  with some kind of push is just one thing to help numbers. But some things aren’t so tangible and responsive after years of failures :toofunny2:.

That Eurovision performance, her panned actress career, VMAs 2021,and cringe dance albums (to name just a few)  will never put her anywhere near the level of respect a legend like Elton commands. The name ‘Madonna’ isn’t being touched with a Barge pole as a serious commercial act in 2022. The dua x Madonna collab made 0 noise. The Elton X Dua is a WW dance smash, a genre that’s no where near as popular as it was. That speaks volumes

This.

She has been actively destroying her legacy for over a decade now so audiences are not taking her seriously.

I mean on one hand I get the comparison, but can you really say it is the same type of effort when Elton called DUA LIPA while Madonna got two rappers from the C list at best?

Look, Madonna is irrelevant but her career started 40 years ago. Others barely lasted for 5 and are now stuck in Vegas singing standards and begging Tom Cruise for handouts.

Her wringing the HELL out of that remixed song for barely 1/100th of Cold Heart's reception. :deadbanana4:

People saying she doesn't want another hit when she clearly does. :deadbanana4:  :deadbanana4::deadbanana4:

Y’all are so miserable :deadbanana4: we should celebrate the fact that Madonna continues to THRIVE on every sort of medium, FOURTY years into her career. The queen of longevity, an acclaimed discography, and CLASSICS. Her streaming numbers WILL continue to grow and yall will deal with that!

I mean, you're getting brave about Madonna being irrelevant to Gen Z as if the generation of Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo don't view Lady Gaga as some older lady who used to be a popstar and now is doing movies or whatever, if they know her at all. She's almost 40 sis, she's ancient to them.

No surprise by the OMH's.

The way Madonna threads are FILLED with bitter Mariah/Gaga stans hating on the best selling female artist of all time :dies:

Frozen remix isn't comparable to CH at all. Let's start from there.

Do you think that’s because young people respect Elton John more? It’s probably that Cold Heart is in the same vein as every other Dua Lipa song. Plus it actually got promoted on radio in contrast to Levitating with Madonna whose verse was awful and in general was chewed up by the Da Baby version a few months later

The original Frozen remix is pulling more daily streams on its 150th day than Big Energy remix on its 2nd week :gaycat6: No one is going to care for a 2nd, 3rd and soon fourth remix of the same remix. Literally who succeeds doing that? Certainly not Gaga's remix album!

You tried.

Also the Frozen remix is on its way to out-stream Gaga's last single, 911 :celestial3:

Came here to say that about Big Energy. What a weird thing to say :deadbanana4:

The difference between the Madonna and the Mariah project is that Frozen is not a current song, while Big Energy is. Big Energy has the original song which is the hit song and currently ranks inside the US top 5 on the H100... and then we have got this Mariah remix of that song, which is currently credited as the majority points / consumption holder in three markets: UK, Ireland and Australia.

I think it is natural that the Christmas fad would be doing less than Frozen remix as the original song is still a current song.

Madonna on the other hand, has idk 2 music videos for her remix and 3 remixes althogether, I think. It did amazingly well for what it is, I must say. I am impressed that Queen Madonna has a current song (a song released this decade) having surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify.

Big Energy remix is currently 33 days old and has surpassed 12,8 million streams thus far (13 million with today's update).

Yesterday it raked in 418,500 streams on Spotify.

Big Energy remix is Mariah's 2nd biggest song of the 2020s decade so far. #1 goes to Oh Santa Remix (2020) which currently sits at 46,8 million streams.

I mean Madonna has been trying with Maluma, Quavo, Dua Lipan Nicki Minaj and others artist to get a hit, but it just doesn't work for her, if only those songs were good :deadvision:

But I won't be surprised if she get a cute hit :fan:

Madonna hasn't worked with Nicki since Rebel Heart (7 years ago), Dua invited Madonna on to her song (not Madonna's fault she chose a bad producer).. When has Maluma last hit the top 10 on the hot 100? When's the last time Quavo hit the top 10 on the hot 100?

Mariah is not even credited on Big Energy on the Hot 100.
