KasioKas Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 2 hours ago, Rotunda said: Hide contents Sorry I think I worded that poorly - I guess my point is that if Morrible knows Elphaba has a strong affinity towards animal kind why does Morrible knowingly coerce Elphaba into doing an act of animal cruelty since presumably that'd piss Elphaba off - unless Morrible also didn't expect the transformation to look uncomfortable? My understanding is this - Spoiler I don't think she knew that would happen, no one did. Remember, no one can read the grimoirie, not the wizard (who's a fraud) nor morrible (she barely knows a few words herself). The people who did write the book died many years ago, as described by the song Kristen & Idina sing in their cameo (on the soundtrack as well). As a result, the effects of the book are unknown until cast... They thought it would be an easy spell cast with no harm to the monkeys and they can secretly then use them as spies across Oz, but the horrible transformation and Elphaba's reaction to it was unforseen.

Jude Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Apparently a 15% drop on a Sunday is great (Frozen 2 dropped 23%) and is an indication of good legs. Expected to cross $200M domestically next weekend. 4
Bhabylon Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Loved the movie so much, I had to watch it twice Even better a second time. Bowen Yang though lowkey is the worst part of the film. Like he's acting like he's in a different movie than everyone else.

He was probably my least favorite part of the film. Every time he would do a one-liner he got zero laughs from the audience.
Elusive Chanteuse Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago You guys hate gay men in media. Bowen got laughs at my show. LOL I need to watch this again if I get the chance. 5 1
