I am so perplexed. How are they able to already calculate estimate figures when the album isn't even out, yet?

I think they have sources with access to pre-order/pre-save figures. They’re a very insider-y publication.

They need to put more vinyls out. The sea glass version sold 50,000 in two hours. How come they prepared so many for Adele and can't match for Harry? :rip:

If they have vinyls available I can see him touch 500K, but it depends on that. Otherwise, 350K is a really good number already, considering the current sales climate.

Do we know when he turned the album in? Also, are vinyl plants still experiencing production delays? That’s had an impact on most vinyls post-COVID.

He finished the album last August. I don't know if there are still production delays but considering there was a preorder for vinyls a few weeks ago, I'm pretty sure there will be vinyls available first week in bulk. I just think the demand is really high. If they could meet the demand he'd have a good 500K+ week, but I'm not sure they can.

Nah, they predicted Kendrick and there are no pre-orders, or anything, really. I think they're just spitballing numbers. But they could still be dead on.

Predictions before an album is released are often pretty off

Are tour bundles still counted on Billboard or even those been removed ?

definitely low balling, he’ll do 400-500k easily :giraffe:

both merch bundle and tour bundle is alive.

but artist need to add "pay extra $xxx and get new album too" option instead of previous "everyone get free album"

Harry has regular CD, Cassette, Vinyl.

and limited CD, Cassette, Vinyl.

and limitex CD, Cassette box set.

all of limited itmes are sold out.

he might have target or other store's exclusive too.

I think he can do +400k easily as his streaming will be massive alongside those pure sales.

Nope. The music has to be the primary consumption. Thats why he created the box sets which are advertised as the album, a shirt, and stickers.

Thanks for this !

I think this is right on, streaming is much harder to accumulate units and a lot has changed since he last released.

that's one of the way. and what I said is also one of the way. it's in the billboard rule.

the thing is no one is going to pay that, so artists team are no longer doing it.

(and for extra history lesson, those option is not new thing but existed for like 2 decade but barely used as fans weren't into it)

I think 450-550k is doable. As It Was sounds very promising so I think that will help

Expected. Fine Line was a massive era.

That's a lot considering his last album came out during the bundles era!

He'd have to be able to afford a mansion first, and considering he's had to resort to this I'm not sure his 1D money can get him there anymore

OT: We. Want. More! Put out the vinyls, just put them out
