The album is projected to open at 55-60k. Big Loud/Republic’s Morgan Wallen remains flat, holding at 51k and #2 for another week. Jason Aldean’s latest Broken Bow release, Georgia, will debut in the Top 10. INITIAL After one day of sales and streams, G.O.O.D./Def Jam's Pusha T appears on track for #1 debut with his fourth full-length, It's Almost Dry. While not yet a lock, we're giving Pusha the edge with projected activity of 50-55k. Morgan Wallen's Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Republic) may provide some competition after increasing by double digits last week following the release of the stand-alone track, "Don't Think Jesus." Pusha T (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) 50-55k total activity, 4-6k albums Similar to Pusha, we're big fans of Diet Coke but now we only consume it on special occasions. Edited April 29, 2022 by Ger-55
fridayteenage Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Pusha T streaming party! Looks like we have a bunch of big albums for the next several weeks so this is hopefully the last chance for that other person.
Armani? Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Morgan's album every week on Billboard 200 projections
Devin Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Pusha T, followed by Jack Harlow and Kendrick better dethrone IT.
Green Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Imagine if Morgan Wallen pulls a Dua and adds that new song to Dangerous as a bonus track
Billionaire Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 the way a racist snatching a #1 over a black artist would be a perfect portrayal of the current state of america
Polgg48 Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 quite early to call what is what and article is bait-y as twitter thread. my gut says pusha T should release deluxe or huge merc discount soon to secure the bag, which is not hard but alarming.
fridayteenage Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 hmm it looks like pusha's never been top 2 before so new high for him
slw84 Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 ATRL will become Pusha T stans for this week only. Pusha T has to rely on steady streams but his apple music numbers are not Lil durk/baby and his spotify numbers are decent. He can secure it with discounts or deluxe versions though Morgan had a 13% increase last week so he might be closer to 55k than 50k this week. I'm sure Pusha will do what needs to be done to snatch a #1 album for the first time.

BuzzCharts Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I figured Jason Aldean would have challenged for #1. He usually does big sales.

He usually does big sales. no he's a flop now. 37k last album. he's not even higher on itunes. last decade's country stars are kinda over. blake opened with 24k. florida georgia line missed the top 20. eric church 53k. For artists who currently identity as country, the only release since July 2020 to hit the top 2 is...well, the one in top 2 right now. Edited April 24, 2022 by fridayteenage

It wasn't a random increase. not sure your point. I said what was done last week...meanwhile in prior weeks he saw an increase so it's not like he got back into top 3 based on the decline so if he doesn't decline Pusha would have to do something (he's an exec at a label I'm sure he will do something if it's that close)
slw84 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Pusha T is a label exec I have a hard time believing he wouldn't pull out a stop (maybe not all the stops) to secure a #1 album he's never had. His numbers are falling fast on Apple music but again he's no Lil Durk. A discount or deluxe mid week could do the trick. Morgan already has what 10 weeks at #1 so it's not like this would be his first week and the album is mega successful so i'm not sure why it's a weekly trigger. What's done was done and people are still supporting. At least May releases will be jam packed and there will be some movement in the top 10 for the first time since Xmas.
slw84 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 4 hours ago, Paranoid Android said: I have genuinely no idea what this sentence means. All I meant was that Morgan's new song had steep daily drops. So even if he has stabilized now, I think he will take a big hit week on week. And that's the problem because we are talking about an album not a song...not even a song on the album Thanks for playing though. Let's see what Pusha can do to snag that #1.
truthteller Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 (edited) i need either a Drake feature or a Drake diss for the surprise deluxe drop to block that trash Edited April 25, 2022 by truthteller

UnusualBoy Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Overall units are so low Also, not Ed holding on better than Adele, BH and Shivers did wonders for the stability of the album in the states and WW.
slw84 Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Oh Pusha got it. If his numbers went up despite streaming numbers collapsing then he's doing what needs to be done for the extra units. Morgan of course not decline and close to the numbers that are expected
